There are 4 separate modules that combine into this fortress. If you would like a chance at winning this model, check out the Summer Joust.
What is the Summer Joust?
The Summer Joust is a castle contest with 6 different categories that is open May 1st-June 30th 2017. The contest is hosted on Flickr in a dedicated contest group. This year there are prizes for 1st and 2nd in all categories (excepting the team category), as well as 3 individual awards. The LEGO set prizes were provided by the LCE team (LEGO Community and Engagement team) through InnovaLUG.
Delightfully done Isaac! Really like the non-90 degree architecture that you've accomplished and the great amount of appropriate texture that you've added at this scale. The water probably would have looked better using transy light blue plates or even 1x1 square bricks. Love the different roof types and the 1x1s that you used on the battlements. That one tower looks exceptional with the lightsaber handles. Truly beautiful, especially at this scale... Oooo, hand flags, know 'em well ;) Funny, I've never really thought to use those cross axle 1x2 pieces in medieval architecture before, but they actually look quite nice and are a great way to incorporate additional openings. And last, but not least, the simple, straightforward base just looks downright amazing. Those textured bricks combined with the cross axle pieces are an excellent amalgamation (love that word). All that said and done (courtesy of my being gone for a long, long while), congrats on this stupendous build. God bless, ~Promar~
