Reserve Truck 502 serves as a reserve truck company in the department.
About this creation
Jump seat area for the firefighters.
Compartmentation in the body. Similar to the current models, our previous tillers were used to store equipment
Rear shows the ground ladder storage and the space underneath is used to store oblong tools such as pike poles and is also used to store 2 of Positive Pressure Ventilation (PPV) fans. One unique feature of this tiller is the open tiller man's cab, which is a rarity in the LFC.
Officer's side shows even more compartmentation!
Reserve Engine 502 and Reserve Truck 502 can be staffed by recall personnel to provide additional support during times of crisis.
Reserve Truck 502 previously served as Truck 1 until 1988 when it was moved to Truck 4. The Mack CF tiller continued to serve as a frontline truck until 1994 when it was moved to a reserve role.
Technical Specs:
Truck 502 is a 1972 Mack CF 100' tiller and is housed at Station 2.
