Doctor Who Alternative TARDIS MOC. (Time Itself)
Hi, again! I am finally back with another MOC. But in my time on MOCpages so far, there is one thing I haven't revealed about myself. I am a huge fan of Doctor Who! Now, I am aware that many people have mixed opinions about this show, but I do not see that as a reason to keep this fact about myself a secret. Please read through my post, and tell me what you think through comments and ratings! Thanks!
About this creation

So. Back to my MOC. This might be a little confusing for people who haven't seen the doctor who episode, War Games, but I hope you can appreciate it anyway. In war games, there were some other kinds of TARDIS' that weren't using their chameleon circuit. They looked like rectangular boxes with a platform that slid out, and that was how you entered and exited. This is based off of that, but I added some of my own twists, which I'll talk about later in this post. Some of you may have seen what a type 40 TARDIS looks like with it's chameleon circuit not in use. This looks nothing like that, so I call it, the type 50 TARDIS. I hope to make a series out of these characters and their TARDIS, somewhere before or after the time of the Doctor.

Here is a shot of the TARDIS standing alone. I sort of took the corner design from the LEGO Cuusoo TARDIS.

A shot straight from the front. If you look closely, you can see how the front might slide out.

A shot straight from the side. Here also, f you look closely, you can see how this was built.

A shot straight from the top. I attempted a design on the top. Simple, but tidy. I also wanted to make the top slanted, but not completely
like the War Games TARDIS.

The top is detachable, so that the user can easily open the TARDIS.

First, place your thumb firmly on the top, and push.

And there you go! the TARDIS opens up, allowing access to the Bigger-On-The-Inside-Interior! Actually no, sadly, but there will be another post with the interior. Probably with lots of greebling.

Character Portraits
Here is my first character for my series, Time Itself. The characters are both Timelords in their first incarnation. This one is Cyrus Teal. More information about these characters will be revealed in future posts.
Cara Teal. this is my other timelord. (Or timelady.) I wanted to have my series star a male timelord, and at the same I wanted to star a female timelord. So I decided on both. I have never seen t done, and I think it will be a very good setting.

Quoting Builder Allan Nice! A neat little build with some nice characters to go with it. I like the photo of the timelady with the laser (is it?) shooting past the camera :-)
Thanks, Builder Allan! And yes, that is a laser screwdriver. Thank you for your comment!

Quoting MOCmunkey 4EVR I really like this creation. It has a lot going for it: original, well-designed, does unexpected stuff, playability. I look fwd to seeing more stuff added to this theme.
Thanks! There might be an animation series of it.
