Almost exactly two years ago I built some Speed Champion-ish cars. My goal was to check whether I'd justify LEGO, with their, back then upcoming, Speed Champion series, to use so many new and custom parts and stickers. The positive feedback on my cars implied that it was not necessary at all.
Last year there was a Speed Champion building contest. I skipped it, because the SC parts weren't in LDD yet, which is shooting yourself in the foot, as they were pretty useful.
Now though, they're in LDD, and there's a new contest so I thought I'd join in. There's a wide range of entries already, so it was hard for me to pick a car. I eventually went with the Lamborghini Centenario LP770-4, which is not particularly good looking but it was fun to build. Obvious flaws are the front and rims (the latter being caused by the SC hubcaps not being available in LDD), and the proportions are a bit odd. That does mean it houses a minifig though. A flaw that caused my original SC models, which were better in proportions, to fail.
The rear, it was hard to make so I did it like this, up to you to figure out if it worked.
