XWing microscale techniques study
Welcome to my Xwing microscale family page !
About this creation
Each of these 8 micro X-Wing are built with different techniques.
I wanted to try various solutions for the wings and engines mainly.

I hope the following pictures let you appreciate each of the design I created.
Don't hesitate to ask me if you have any question thru the comments.

I'm also curious to know which one is your favorite.

That first one is the "classic" one from episode I, II, III and Rogue One.

I did something very unusual for me modifying lego parts: here the red flowers I cut to fit better with the wings size. (I promise I will never do it again ! ;) )

X-Wing from episode 7 (Orange)

X-Wing from episode 7 (Blue)

X-Wing from episode 7 (Orange)

That one is a pure creation with colors I like but are not corresponding to any episode of StarWars

X-Wing from episode 7 (Orange)

Classic X-Wing with (with entire red flowers ;) )

X-Wing from episode 7 (blue)
I will post a dedicated page for this small diorama.

It's crazy that each of these is built differently. My favorite is the one with technic pins for engines.

I think the variants with the engines look the best. Great work studying several different shapes and forms. Although I'm not fond of the wing shape using droid arms, I do like how it allows for striped colored wings!

Quoting andros tempest The word you were looking for was technique. Not technic. But some brilliant micro builds here. Top notch.
Fixed now. Thank for your comment and correcting my english.

Quoting Zach Sweigart Awesome things come in small packages. Great work on all these X wings. My favorite is the original trilogy one but they're all solid.
Thanks, my favorite too actually.

Really nice study going on there, i like all of them. Each one is unique and has a great use of parts. Very distinctively recognizable too!

Quoting Nils O. Red 5, Ready! There are some very cool ideas for micro scale X-Wings, so you can build a whole squadron without spending too much money. I think I'll put that idea on my to do list ;-)). Great job! :-))
Hi Nils ! Thank you for your comment. Yesterday I got from my parents a big box of Lego parts I had when I was a child. A lot of classic Space parts !!! Some hours needed to sort out all this pieces and then I want to try to build a classic Space moc. One more thing on my own "todolist"... Hahaha...

Oh man, the nostalgia this brings me! Back in my teen days I was addicted with microscale Star Wars spaceships - a shame I don't have any of my own still put together, but I still have some sets around. Nice!
