Speed Champions scale AGI Atomar concept car...
About this creation
COMING SOON! The future is here now at AGI! The car we will all be driving by the year 2000: the Atomar, the world's first nuclear fission powered automobile.

4th wall: This is a parody of those concept cars from the late 80's and early 90's that looked, well, like this. Ridiculous but futuristic and fast.

Jack Sr. introducing the Atomar, the first car AGI debuted way back in 1989.

Odd angles and hard to find headlights will be the norm in 2000.

Oh there's the headlights! We forgot where they were designed to be.

We feel every family car should look and feel like a supercar.

Drag coefficients? In the future, this won't matter!

All cars should have body matching interiors!

A new concept is being applied with our null emissions!

Thank you for viewing!

Quoting Sven ;o) Looks very interesting Jack ;) Nicely done!
Thanks! Not my best work, considering all of the studs. There was something I liked about it though, futuristic nonsense and all. :-)

Quoting Zach Sweigart That's awesome! THe only thing that would make it more nineties is if you had it in a lavender color, but that's impossible with Lego's current color palette. Great design.
Yeah that's true! They're either a weird lavender or red. Funny. Thank you for the great comment! :-)

Quoting Jeremy McCreary Another great design, Jack! Fun back story, too.
Thank you Jeremy! Sometimes it's fun to just be silly about what you're working on. Lego is meant to be fun, am I right? :-)

Quoting Nick Barrett They were even more crazy in the '50s and 60s, or you might call it more imaginative. Nuclear power = zero emissions (apart from one small problem...)
I remember seeing pictures of those old wacky concepts. Some were genius, but others... yikes. At AGI, we guarantee our cars up to 30,000 miles with no danger of meltdown.

Quoting High Emperor Duckie Cool! Lol, how they thought the future would be
the Tesla is the closest thing to what they were pushing and even that isn't as far out. Check out the Camaro California IROC Z. Crazy car.
