BMW 320i Group 5 1977
The BMW E21 was entered in touring cars competition in 1977, complying to the new-new-new rules of Group 5. As it became patent that the CSL chassis was outperformed by more modern cars, as the porsche 935, BMW decided to build a smaller car from the then all new serie 3, replacing the 2002 range. Giving up the 6 in line for a smaller 4 in line, they developped this 320i to compete in Gr.5 regulated races, as the famous Deutshcland Rennsport Meisterschaft. BMW Motorsport, Faltz racing, Alpina, GS tuning, entered these 320, first with a N/A engine then with a turbo. The most extreme version were built by Schnitzer, with long tail body and crazy aero devices...the aim was to confront efficiently the fiercest contender of this car in the DRM division II: the Ford Capri Zakspeed Turbo. This moc features all what you can fin in my other cars that is: - Technic engine - Suspensions on four wheels - Real steering - Removable bodywork - Modular conception based on reality.

Fantastic model and color too. I think roof should be a bit higher, however

Quoting killswitch95 [SNRK] Nice to see that... I'll start saving for a R92CP, and 787B right away... I'll save for the TS020, but that's probably a long way off, but no doubt would probably be one of your best considering the shaping required. Personally speaking if you do the Toyota GT-One (TS020) I would build the windshield how you do out of black bricks because the curves of it really add to the car vs a giant gaping hole so one could easily see the interior...
I perfectly agree. I don't like holes in the shape (that's why i don't build my bowdyworks with technics but bricks) and "bubble" windscreen is a capital element of stylein Gr.C or GT1 like the TS020.

Quoting killswitch95 [SNRK] Love it... Is you plan on your website to eventually have all your cars Instructions for sale, and possibly have kits of them for sale also? (Would be awesome if you did, and they came with a sticker sheet)
I have still to test the market for the kits but for the instructions, most of my creations are and will be available. The stickers sheet can be downloaded via flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/135480524@N02/albums/72157665851694673 The sheet for this one (and her alternate colored sisters :D) will be posted soon.
