An Unexpected Party...
Welcome! This is my custom build for Bag End, Bilbo's House in the movie! By Roanoke Handybuck! :D
About this creation
Hello! This is my first of 19 posts I will be doing, where I will be building my way through the Hobbit story, one chapter per post, I will do this over the course of the year...

Anyways, about the build, this is the first olive green bag end! Or at least the first that I have seen, it is on a 32 x 32 baseplate.

Here are some more pics:

Here are some WIP Pics:

And here is the main pic again:

Also, be looking out for MELO coming this April! :D

MELO Banner (2017)

This is one of my favorite projects to date, and I am really liking the series of Hobbit builds so far! :D So I hope you enjoyed! :D

C&C Appreciated!

To God be the glory!

My first reaction when I saw this: WHAAAAAT??? The attention to detail here is insane!!! The texture that the leaves create gives the whole thing a feeling of non-legoness! Well done!

Nice hobbit hole, Roanoke! This project you're beginning sounds very similar to something I was planning on doing with this build: http://www.moc-pages.com/moc.php/429023 I never ended up continuing it, but I much look forward to your take!

From a distance, it actually looked like you'd stuck real grass on the top... it made me do a bit of a double take :P Anyway, very nice interpretation of the Hobbit Hole- your attention to detail is very impressive!

I love the hobbit door and the steps! I dislike all the foliage though...it doesn't really look like grass IMO. Can't wait to see how the whole series comes out!! :D
