sho nyo shi dae. reloaded editorial of perseverence, first notes the color may not be perfect but you know how i update thing. so lets get too it!so mocpages in this editorial i introduce you to girls generation!so starting from the left is 1 choi soo young and on to the right 2 im yoona 3 stephanie young hwang(known as tiffany) 4 sunny lee soonkyu 5 kim hyoyeon (pronounced ho-yun) 6 kwon yuri 7seo joo hyun (pronounced soy-un) 8 kim taeyeon(pronounced tae yun)(leader)so girl's generation is a south korean girl pop group by sm entertainment, they came to fame in 2007,even though there first album did not gain much attention it was not until 2009 that the group rose to fame with there first hit single gee.which claimed the top spot on kbs (korean bradcasting system)music bank for a reccord breaking nine consecutive weeks and was named the most popular song of the 2000's in south korea.girls generation further consolidated their popularity on the south korean music scene with follow up singles "tell me your wish" "oh!" and run devil run, in mid-2009 and early 2010.In mid-2010, Girls' Generation signed with Nayutawave Records (present-day EMI Records Japan) to venture into the Japanese music scene. Their June 2011 self-titled Japanese debut album peaked atop the Japanese Oricon Albums Chart and became the first album by a non-Japanese girl group to be certified million by the Recording Industry Association of Japan. The group's third Korean studio album The Boys was released in October 2011 and became the best-selling album of 2011 in South Korea with sales of over 380,000 copies. An English version of the single "The Boys" was released by Interscope Records in an attempt to expand the group's endeavor to the global music scene. The group's 2013 fourth Korean studio album I Got a Boy was supported by the single "I Got a Boy", which was subjected to major attention from Western media following its winning the Video of the Year award at the inaugural YouTube Music Awards. Their fifth Korean studio album, Lion Heart, was released in 2015.Girls' Generation's signature musical styles are characterized as electropop and bubblegum pop, though their sounds have varied widely, incorporating various genres including hip hop, R&B, and EDM. They have sold over 4.4 million albums and 30 million digital singles as of 2012. The group's immense popularity in their native country South Korea has earned them numerous accolades and the titles "The Nation's Singers" and "The Nation's Girl Group". Girls' Generation is also deemed one of the prominent figures of the Korean Wave and one of the most popular K-pop acts internationally. They are the first girl group to achieve four music videos with over 100 million views on YouTube: "Gee", "I Got a Boy", "The Boys", and "Mr. Taxi". In Japan, they became the first non-Japanese girl group to have three number-one albums on the Japanese Oricon Albums Chart, and their three Japanese concert tours attracted a record-breaking 550,000 spectators, more than any other Korean girl groups.(editorial) how i discovered them was last year on g+.i happened to be browsing one day on there and often times g+ would show me things i might be interested in .so one of those lucky times i came across this fanpage for snsd (in full words that is Sho Nyo Shi Dae which in korean that means girls generation) the page was called yoonaddict!so i got to browsing around and also heard my first gg song "party time" then came you think and lion heart.that was it! and i officially declared myself a fan just one year ago.as ive done with every new singer or group i follow them!and share them with my many followers on my social media platforms,so in the form of a lego mosaic one again im sharing them with you! if it was not for that fan blog i would never have found snsd knowing the type of entertainment news that dominates the headlines now a days.i got tired of hearing about north korea so i wanted to know about the other side of the border.and there i found my eternal fanbase. snsd is a girl band to most certainly believe in. korean music was a big step for me,my first listening was very interesting.but even though i didint understand what they were saying i loved it anyways, that's the beauty of music.so to anyone who listens i tell them about snsd, they also gave me enhanced open mindedness.im obsessed with korean and asian culture.including a much broader perspective on world culture. after hearing about stand and netizenbuzz(more about them later.outrage warning) and what happened in 2013 i was compelled to be a sone. i have snsd to thank for showing me a much bigger world.last year in 2016 snsd hit a major milestone,5 music videos “Gee,” “The Boys,” “Mr. Taxi,” and “I Got A Boy.” obtained 100 million views on youtube! on that note snsd is the first major girl kpop group to do that worldwide! last year 4 of the members sunny hyoyeon tiffany yuri made an appearance on nbc's better late than never featuring william shatner henry winkler george forman jeff dye exploring other country's.this time they took a trip to korea and went on a tour in korea and even visited the dmz and survived(demilliterized zone the boarder of north and south korea).before hand they met with gg and performed a gee duet!full highlights will be in the links! snsd has been recognized by people you know well! people like victoria beckham, variety magazine billboard vouge cosmopolitan allure pantene and kelly rippa and howie mandell david letterman i heart radio fuse, casio gucci coach doce gabanna fendi pantene, those are not exaggerations folks.snsd is most certainly not your average hollywood bad girls your sick and tired of hearing about.snsd's style is class and sexiness done just right.if you see snsd's you think you will see that contrast.snsd's style and music has appealed to all age groups there is absulutely no R rating on them as there detractors forge.these girls ages range from 27 to 28 and keeping a squeakey clean level head in a sex sells hollywood enviroment is something they maintain very well.these girls are very charitible as i mentioned in the last editorial sooyoung created a charity for the blind beaming effect and once again is hosting it for the 4th year in a row.an issue that hits sooyoung hard her own father suffers from eye inpairments, its a cause near and dear to her heart.snsd has been proponents of animal rights.if you did not know korea is a dog eating state.the members have spread petitions and campaigns to end it but sadly there efforts fell on deaf ears, but the girls remain determained to bring dog eating in asian culture to an end.snsd has also been vocal on human rights and enviromental issues.one of gg's acomplishments was a special song and proccedes sent to help the children of africa with uniceff.in earlier times gg has voulentered time to local children even those in the hospital as to show there humanity. the big heart of snsd. snsd was one of the major girl groups in korea to break the glass the ceiling,as south korea still struggles through female inequality. snsd which now has been around for 10 years faced all kinds of mosoginistic and sexist hate,at the time snsd came out groups like there's were frowned upon because of the mostly and formaly male domninated kpop idustry and the confucious believe system that women belong in the home a theory that vagely remains in korea today.as snsd got popular they helped open the door for other female kpop groups winning local and worldwide awards bringing up spirits of those who wished to follow in there footsteps in the kpop industry,as of reccently female kpop groups like ioi twice redvelvet g friend did a tribute to gg by renditioning one of there songs into the new world,as a thank you for gg breaking that glass ceiling for them .that's why snsd in korea is considered the queens of kpop for that exact reason.and #1 worldwide. there lyrics totally sfw a mix of english and korean as they appeal to more western audiances. japanese they also speak.reccently taeyeon the band leader and seohyun progressed in learning english.the rest of members all korean born except tiffany who hails from l.a. sunny also born in california orange county later moved to korea where she has spent the rest of her life there.with that its left sunny with a english barrier but no problems about that.snsd is all about natural beauty, they hardly do makeup modeling deals.there modo is to believe in your natural beauty not photoshopped digitaly edited magazine covers.through there beliefs they served as role models for the youth of korea.as sunny would always put it "go bared faced".on the other hand snsd has had countless dreams of bringing there music beyond korea,in 2012 snsd when it was 9 members appeared on live with kelly rippa and the david letterman show, it was met with love and hate, but once again snsd showed those people wrong by winning the 2013 youtube music awards show, beating people who where so called destened to win video of the year, they beat out people like demi lovato justin bieber lady gaga macklemore miley cyrus one direction psy selena gomez,as snsd celebrated fans of the opposing fanbases including psy's were not good sports.spouting out all kinds of hate and rascism that shall not be repeated.sadly its kind of retreated gg back to korea, but with the american dream still alive, and hoping to return, like they did in 2015 and last year for a rare american concert at kcon l.a dressing up in american flag attire to show they respect our american values just as we respect korean values.within 2013 snsd performed the first pitch at dodger stadium taeyeon performed the korean and the american anthem i believe as part of korean pride day with them as the entertainment.no snsd has not given up on the us,the korean invasion is very much alive, speaking of invasion snsd is so popular in korea that the korean government used there music over loud speakers that broadcast to the other side of the border.basicly to remind the north what there missing.the north retailiated by passing a proclomation banning snsd's music and beaming back speakers that displayed uniteligible static.the rest about the north is history.the girls are know for there short shorts and not political statements a quote from a blog. most certainly snsd is not closed up to themselves from there fans as they would put it they want a close relationship with the fans, the sones have built them up and gg cant thank them enough. in case you wondering why you have not heard of snsd its because the bigger following is overseas and sadly kpop is not as popular as it should be in the us compared to the amount of press other celebrities we hear about in the headlines.mainly snsd is heard about online its mainly where kpop has been cegragated too and there american endorsements mainly hear about and find them.collaborations among foreign artists is rare because of the lack of investment and stock and poularity in the kpop industry.there are american fans but not enough country wide support to do any major promoting here, and also considering there from korea they must go through the red tape of imigration and customs which could be a long droughn out proccess and things may not get on pace in time,so therefore kpop has mainly focused on asia an on the internet that appeals to a broader stage.so now i tell you about soshified,an american based website your's truly is a part of dedicated to reporting snsd to the us.its most promenent members soy and dylan jacob help bring snsd's message in translated form to those who are willing to listen. it turns out there are hundred but millions of us in the us how about that? on twitter they have 2.43 million followers and on facebook over 14.605955 likes and follows! so you add all that together and you will be oustounded at how large this fan base is worldwide.snsd has solo songs among the members you will hear the most reccent from taeyeon and hyoyeon and seohyun and tiffany in the links.the solos i believe were done so you will get to know each and every one of there voices better, when not singing and dancing snsd can be seen hanging out together with friends and family, also playing with there pets, also they are busy chasing modeling gigs like what seohyun and yuri did for pantene along with a suprise music video. and local acting like plays and movies and korean drama and variety tv shows like korean shows like the k2 38police squad and goho starry night.reccently member yoona was cast in her first korean movie of course films we may never hear about.also snsd has a love for food, cooking, the girls known to raid the fridge and the local food stores shopping for supplies and hyoyeon well known to eat fast food like its going out of style! they can also be found on instagram and weibo(a asian social network) and two members on twitter sunny and seohyun.there the kind of group if you drop sometihng the'l pick it you for you manners.also lending voices on issues inportant to them, and also in there time together they write songs for next planned album whenever that may be or helping a fellow sister with one of there solo songs.there bond so unbreakable they call it the sisterhood.in 2014 snsd would have a major shake up, former member and soloist jessica jung left the group amid a conflict with sm entertainment.while exact reasons for the departure is unclear, jessica did not let that stop her,she went on to release two succsessful solo albums and even has her own fashion line.critics thought that was the end of them.boy do they not know snsd.as i eluded to earlier there are people out there who believed and wished snsd never was, two of the most promenent is stand9 (strong till all nine disapear) and netizenbuzz (a combination word of citizen and network.) all labeled hate groups well known for writting and inciting snsd's death and destruction, netizenbuzz caused so much trouble that in south korea you are allowed to file a police report and sue said people. despite those diar consequences both groups remain in operation denegrating and de legitimizing snsd and other kpop groups by making fun of there appearances talent looks and always trying to find manufactured dirt on them and playing the plastic surgery card 24/7.its gone on as long as snsd has been around, netizenbuzz and stand has been known to use all kinds threats and cyberbullying (vulgar sexual and threats of death)and other forms of attack to intimidate and bring down certain people and sadly in some cases its worked.while claimimg to take a conservitive approuch one group neither one was succsessful in defeating was snsd, they stood tall no matter what was thrown at them, and when you mess with a fanbase you mess with a hornets nest. the sones fired back and both groups stood down but not for long, thanks to blocking and lawsuits the hate groups backed down but not quietly. regardless neither one of those groups had no evidence which was always the case and made big fools of themselves. its unclear what country of origin the groups are from considering the collums are all in english. for 10 years strong snsd has survived racisim sexisim mosodginy and a hole lot more at home and abroad, knowing all things layed out you can understand why the sones are "protective of the girls" because its non stop everyday. but snsd puts those in the past and they have forgiveness in there hearts, apparently those idiots cant figure out why there so happy, because they know kindness triumphs hate.snsd kept on dancing singing and persevered through good times and bad.all the pundits and music polsters said snsd would not last two years, that was ten years ago as other kpop groups rose and fell snsd remained the strongest.mainly a david and goliath story. that's why snsd is mosaiced for a seccond time and possibly another time.even though snsd was not really active as group in 2016 us sones are 2017 will be better, they must fit it into there busy schedule but dont worry snsd members are working hard on it,as they say there next album will come no matter what.visibly and truthfully snsd is the sweetest and kindest group around if you ever meet one of them even if they dont have the time for you they will make time. signing your autograph talking to you,the group is far from self centered.every time you see them you always find a smile on there face.as the cw song would song would say "dare to defy" snsd dared to defy the odds and the folkes who said kpop was only known in asia. so if you ask me is it worth it to become a sone? i say yes you won't find any of that in hollywood today.follow them and you wont be dissapointed.i think its time for more diversity in our music culture and language barriers should be no roadblock.even though snsd was not that active in 2016 they held a commanding popularity lead without a comeback(meaning a new album).so tell me what you think about this band and my opening statement and the mosaic and here is my request...let me know if you would like to see individual mosaics of each members in comments! in the procces check out all the latest music from snsd in the links from taeyeon and her new mini album why which was filmed in palm springs california right after my first snsd mosaic, and hear her newest song 11:11 and starlight (feat dean),and see the pantene music video with seohyun and yuri! and mystery with hyoyeon! and dont speak featuring tiffany in far east movements new song and hear heartreak hotel!and yoona's blossom track and hear her sing amazing grace. and finally seohyun's dont say no! and sailing a snsd tribute to the sones for there 9th anniversary last year. then there is there phantasia concerts old footage but still entertaining! along with old and new songs!all in one place and then tell me what you think about that! opinion is needed! also i leave you with the profiles of each member atlfr signing off!
