Again a LegoNYC update. Description above the pics. Hope you like all the updates :)
About this creation
Here it is, the beautiful 10th anniversary modular Assembly Square. It fits perfect into my old section of LegoNYC and I really like it. But changed a lot of details like the colour of the facades of the buildings in the center and the right side, replaced the fountain with a beautiful tree and changed the design of the baby stroller.

And here is the baby stroller with SC hubcaps as wheels and very nice colours ;)

Scooby Doo and Scooby Doo XD A pretty nice figure I really like.

Brickbank is now located where my grocery store was and the grocery store went into my cabinet where I store all Lego sets. Here is the carpenter very busy with some repairs.

Interior lighting for brickbank and laundromat.

And now the residential highrise from above which is completely new built. And yes, it has a tornado siren on the top roof.

Here in its full size. Very small compared to the LegoNYC tower on the left XD.

A nice view over the modern part with the highrises.

Here is a view from the top of the LegoNYC tower. Its finished now and reached a height of about 77,1 inches with antenna and 70,8 inches without antenna.

And finally a recap of our USA trip in September 2016 in Lego Architecture sets I got on Christmas. We visited every location you see on the pics. So those two sets are a great keepsake of our fantastic trip.

Next project is finishing Engine 5's firehouse.

No problem my friend. Will take a look at your reply :) And yeah I know that from Julia's study time. She had the same probs. But now she has a good job and so the long waiting time was worth it. Hope the same for you my friend and wish you all the best! Like I told you before, still have some things to do and will post the update tomorrow.

Yes budgets are a pain in the...! I can't wait to end my studies. Right now all i have is a student grant and a little extra on the side from summer jobs. It does allow me to buy some parts and sets but not on the level i'd like or have been used to in the past :-( I think i remember the new building you mention, i like that one too! I will be looking forward to seeing what changes you make to it :-) And you're very welcome for the comment my friend. Thank you to you too for the comment you made on my new project :-) I left you a reply there.

Allan my friend, I know that from myself referring to the budget. Reaching the actual size of my city took me many years and a lot of money. It's a shame that Lego is throwing so many new (and awesome) sets in the market. I wish I could buy them all but that's absolutely not possible. I thank you very much for your really nice, very kind words you left here. Always try my best to improve my city. Will upload a update of my latest building today or tomorrow because I made some significant changes regarding the design. I bet you'll like it. And I'll take a look at your building very soon but I'm in a rush now. Thanks again so much my friend, I highly appreciate every single word very much!

This is awesome! I have to agree with Reid S lower in the comments, your city is so beautifully detailed. Interesting changes you made to the Assembly Square too. I really want that set, but between my own projects and my diminishing budget it's not easy to save up to buy it :-/ As for the two modern high rise buildings here: I really like them both, but as beautiful as the 'black monolith' is and however much i desire to build it, it wouldn't fit into my city, nor would i be able to give it the height it deserves to truly look great. The condominium building would be easier for me to build, both because it would be cheaper (with the many panels) and because i would be able to build it at a lower height that would fit better into my own city. My current project is a town house that would fit right in between the Assembly square (if i ever get it) and the Town Hall. You can see a few photos of the WIP here: http://www.moc-pages.com/moc.php/349857 It was actually almost finished when i decided to add an extra floor. IT has been added now but i am still missing some parts which should arrive within a week or so. In any case, A great looking city you have here! Brilliant work my friend :-)

And this one is small compared to layouts I've seen from friends and other Lego builders. But that's all space I can afford. Thank you very much for your kind words and the big compliment my friend!

What's not to love, the level of detail of LEGONYC is a true refection of its creator. It shows your true passion for this hobby and your relentless quest for excellence of design and execution of said designs. BOAJDTAP. which really is a pointless thing to say because you always find a way to enhance perfection my brother.

Hey Alex, thank you so much for your very nice comment. I'm very happy that you love the white highrise. It's a big compliment and my effort rebuilding it was worth it. But it's white with transblack windows. The yellow you see is from the interior lighting.
