From The Lord of the Rings, The Two Towers. This model was originally designed with the style of an official Lego set in mind. The model includes the characters Gandalf the White, King Theoden in his sick state, Hama the guard, Eomer, Eowyn, Grima Wormtongue and Shadowfax the horse.
About this creation

As in the movie the building sits on top of a stone plinth, it is a complete structure with all four sides, roof and details such as the small fountain out the front.

The thatch roof of the building is split near the front, the larger section is removable and then the entire front section of the model detaches enabling the main body of the great hall to open up.

This is what the model looks like when the front section is removed (roof retained), notice how the interior space digs down into the volume of the plinth, creating a space larger than the 'wooden' portion of the exterior of the model originally suggested.

The interior is one long room decorated with flags and shields. Small tables and and barrels containing food and weapons are also present.

The central floor space is separate and is released when the building opens up, it includes a large dining table with a roast turkey and a small spit over hot coals.

The final internal feature is that the throne hides a space underneath where the Kings sward and other treasure is kept.

This is the rear-view of the front section of the building, where a treassure chest with gold inside is hidden inside the stone base.

The front exterior of the building features one more function; a small leaver to the side when pushed causes the front steps to flip slightly, knocking Grima Wormtongue down.

This could be an official set! It's got some great play potential for kids (and fun architecture for adults). I agree with Choco, you should put it on Lego ideas.

Very nice work on this! I could see this as a set, speaking of which I wish Lego had made a set of Edoras. Anyway, I love all the play features and how the building goes down into the plinth! =)
