I'm back with a build that I've had lying around for a few weeks. I figured that the Christmas season was as good a reason as ever to build a snowy creation. Plus, I hadn't done one for a long time and thought that I'd better get back at it.
No story for this build, it's just an experiment with better fir trees and a rushing water effect. I'm not entirely convinced that light gray and white go together well, but I didn't have a choice since I still have my "A Mighty Fortress" build together and most of my dark gray pieces invested in it. "Make do with what you've got" is most certainly my Lego and Life motto ;)
And obviously Froggie isn't in this build because, of course, he's hibernating...
I like the slight tone changes within the light grey stones. The stream look like it is still flowing (which it probably would be), yet it still looks freezing cold. One thing I'm not loving too much is the different greens used. Sand and olive green clash a bit. Some green is still needed, though.
