Well, I'm back. Back after more than a year on MOCpages. It's been a long time, yes, but school has been getting pretty busy now I'm in Year 10. I have continued to post cars on my flickr account as it was simpler to do. But now I've come back to here. Anyway, this is essentially version two of my MC12, as a few things have been updated/redone/refined. I'll go through more about what I've done to make this look better than my first.
About this creation
The rear came with some upside-down work to do. If you don't know, I have been trying new things when it comes to 4-wides; using parts that I wouldn't usually use, and use new techniques.
This is how I built the rear. It's just exactly the same as my Lamborghini Miura P400SV. Although towards the centre, the 1x1 tile fits between the rear axle, the right of the car, and the middle. If your curious to see it for yourself, the .lxf file is available to download.
On my first model, this wasn't possible as none of these parts are available in white; just Dark Stone Grey. But thanks to LDD, we are all able to do just about anything you can't with real parts. Which is why I choose LDD over reality.
From only angles like this and the top view will the grille be seen here. It acts as the small parts of bodywork at the intakes.
The sides have been "squeezed in" from a lower part of the MOC, up to the height of the wheels & tyres. Not a huge change, but it looks more like the real car at least.
This was my original MC12. It was a combination of J K's and Aaron F's MC12s. During my early time on the 'pages, my MOCs were based off of other people's creations, this being one of them. There's no point showing the back of it because you may have already seen it.
And that wraps it up! It feels good being back uploading stuff here. There are many, many more cars to come here. Maybe over 1 000... No joke. I'll let you decide what you want to see next instead of me uploading what I choose to. Thanks for stopping by!
