Well, with heavy heart, I've finally decided to get out of Lego. This will be my last entry on the Pages. My imagination has run dry and I've lost the spark. It's kind of sad really, I have collected for years and loved to build. Now it's gone. I just don't have it anymore. I'm not sure what happened, it just stopped. I've started to get rid of my collection and move on to other things. I have been thinking about doing this for a long time. I tried once before, but I just wasn't ready. It was not an easy decision to make, but Lego is expensive and it takes up a lot of room. I will check back in from time to time. You never know, maybe the Lego bug will bite in the future, so I will not delete my account this time.
Goodbye to everyone here, you are all great people.
It was fun, nothing can replace it.
Jim, you really helped to expand my view of what Lego can do. It's started me on a whole new world of building, and for that I can't thank you enough! Even if you leave, you leave behind a great legacy. Thank you for your kindness and commitment to the people on this site.
I've been experiencing something similar to what you are experiencing as well, with not having enough spark to make a single creation. However, I've been recently just looking at other creations that people have made and their creations look awesome to the point where I want to start building again. Yet, I don't want to take out all my stored LEGO... anyways while I'm sad to see you leave the hobby, maybe one day you'll return?? Until then, farewell and good luck with life!
