Battlestar Galactica
Well, having just missed out on uploading for Rnd 2, I cut my losses and made a quick fire build of the Galactica.
About this creation

At just 54 studs long, here's my new version of the Galactica :)

So say we all...

Well done PARR for taking on the new/old rust bucket of a battlewagon. Its far better than my attempt, Not tried this version YET.... Well done

HEHE! It wouldn't be a real Parrington build, if it had no interior shot! More please. Great take on the old bucket, dude.

You lost recently a battle but you're still for the run and the win... of Galactica War. Hope you feel much better. For much longer... Take good care of you.

Quoting Fell Skyhawk Awesome work. Well done on a classic.
Thanks Fell, good to see you still around mate :)

Quoting Nick Barrett Looks great - there's not enough studs in space and this restores the balance.
lol, well yeh, something I realised making this was that at this the scale, the studs imply the ribs of this ship. It would have looked silly with tiles all over it. Cheers Nick :)

Quoting Seaman SPb Excellent work, given the speed of manufacturing! I demand to take battlestar "Galactica" in the number of participants of the MocOlympics 2016! :)

Quoting Werewolff . Brilliant texturing and design all round! I'll admit I've never seen the show, but I'm sure this is faithful to the original. Well done, and nice to see you back on your feet :) Hope you're doing alright mate!
Thanks mate, yeh getting better every day, dude if you ever get the chance, do watch the recent show, perhaps the best show ever made - it really has it all.

Quoting VAkkron ™ I voted for your BSG in the Space Olympics last year, which I remember well. This new version has a hull deliciously textured in studs, which I am quite fond of, although that often works best on a larger scale. You still got all the angles just right though! I think it would benefit from some splashes of color, but otherwise it's a great model and imo a good way to spend a few days building. :) Cheers!
:) Hehe yes I remember that, spewing I didn't get to rnd 3 I liked that comp. And yeh, this is the follow up I guess, though a bit larger.

Quoting Clayton Marchetti Excellent work! Love the engine detail.
Yeh engines wereliteraly last, and I was very determined not to rush them and funnily enough they turned out the best part!

Quoting christophe corthay The target in art is to make it the simplest as possible…..just a line. You did it with this battelstar !!!!
:) thanks for those kind words, yeh, if you can get the lines right, well, why do anymore? This really worked out better than I had hoped, I like the pods myself, they seem to have a nice bend to them.Cheers friend!

Quoting Oran Cruzen Very nice build but especially because of its size, lots of detail in a small package when you consider the size of the Galactica! A minifig size Viper is about 1/4 to 1/3 of this size I would say IMHO. Well done!
Thanks buddy :)
