In short, this is not a creation for the Lego legalist...
About this creation
Hey all!

Like the intro implies, this creation heavily focuses on "illegal" techniques. In fact, the tower is made up of 5 separate, non-connected pieces. Though in my defense, the basest part (as in, lowest) is fully connected (as is seen in later pics). Of course, in the strictest sense, even the tile roof is less than legal as well due to lack of fully interlocked pieces.

All that aside, I think this creation is AOK. Not as if I had to go through the process of defining my defense of my techniquing anyway ;)

Here's a vague glimpse of the technique that I used for the base. No rocket science here, but after seeing what people like Mr. Cab had come up with as far as new techiques, I wanted to branch out a bit and take a chance. Who knows, I may very well come up with a unique technique to call my own someday... :)

God bless you all, to Him be the glory!

Quoting TMNS 5097 Amazing work here Promar! Sometimes 'illegal' techniques look a lot better then legal techniques! The roof is my favorite part, but the wall itself is very good as well! Great work once again Promar! God bless! :)
Quoting jonnylegoboy911 . Very interesting build indeed. Maybe a little studdy on the outside but the design is certainly an awesome feature.
Thanks guys! Yeah, it was definitely experimental. I might try something better next time (when I have more pieces available for my use). God bless! ~Promar~

Quoting Oliver Becker A really nice concept, Promar! And: Will the circle be unbroken... ? What about 360? ;)
Hi Oliver, thanks for stopping by! Thanks, I would have loved to make it a full circle as well, but I didn't have the pieces that I needed. I may try it again, only complete it this time :) God bless, ~Promar~

Quoting Deus "Big D." Otiosus The brown parts sticking out are kind of awkward. I like the construction of it all, but at least putting it on a green (or brown!) baseplate and removing the awkward parts would make it much better very quickly.
Thanks, as always, for the excellent critiquing. I was attempting to give the effect that I was just catching the top of the tower, which would explain its stubbiness. Heh, yeah. I was really caught up in emphasizing (overemphasizing) the round array... Thanks and God bless! ~Promar~

Quoting Mister Lego ~ Clever techniques. Really cool looking tower, maybe add the rest of the castle now? ;)
Quoting Magma ! Nice technique. I wish the tower was whole. But I also love how you made the roof.
Thanks guys! That would have been spectacular, but alas! I didn't have the pieces for it. I will endeavor to next time! God bless, ~Promar~
