Battlestar Chelone
About this creation

Following the discovery of the Galactica orbiting within the Sol system's asteroid belt, designs for a new fleet of warships began. The result is the Battlestar Chelone, Greek for turtle. Significantly more armored that her Colonial counterpart, the Chelone-Class Battlestar is built to withstand multiple nuclear missile strikes.

Quoting Garry King Brilliant creation OH El Barto the great. Looks like a build called the turtle because of the round top. You certainly have done some very brilliantly amazing problem solving with the curved shaping. Well done and don't throw this beast in the air like the last one poor lego bricks. How many got damaged upon the crashing???? Well done..
Thanks, Garry! Didn't get an email that you left a comment... Nope, haven't tossed this one, still sitting on the coffee table. I think I might keep it for a while. No pieces were damaged at BW, luckily. And not any of the other ships, as far as I remember. So, if you've got the urge...

Ah nicely done, and yes, that side by side shot really does rule mate :) Maybe when our species gets its act together say in ten thousand years or so, they may actually build battlestars, nice to dream...

Quoting Henrik Jensen Spaceships aren`t my favorite theme, but this one is really amazing! You hit the shape of the reference really close. The ribbed outer instead of the references hexagonal skin, is a great and achievable alternative. An excellent spaceship enhanced by a fantastic photo-editing
Thanks for the great comment! Maybe on a larger scale that hexagonal skin might work...

Absolutely awesome amazing Battlestar - looks ready to both dish out and absorb some damage! I like the fact that the use of curved slopes (you really have a lot of those!) echoes the ribbed design of the Galactica with a new twist.

This smooth monster is so impressive. The time and effort (and expense I imagine!) of all of those curved bricks, offset on SNOT bricks produces a great effect. Even more so because they contrast with the delicately detailed guns and greebles. All topped off with great presentation :D
