Decks D and E of the Constitution Refit class: officer’s quarters and the upper saucer hull.
About this creation

Deck D: Senior officer quarters, science labs, and phaser banks.

Deck D houses 8 senior officers in large quarters. Rank hath its privileges!

These cabins are a little more cramped than they appear on screen. There isn’t a clear delineation between two rooms, for example, nor is there a sliding transparent partition. On the other hand, there are finally some closets!

There are two more science labs, a computing lab and a high-energy physics lab. Strangely enough, every field seems to require the exact same equipment…

One of three phaser banks on Deck D. All nine of the ship’s phaser banks are controlled from Deck H.

These quarters for 40 officers on Deck E are the last ones, making the crew capacity 498.

In an emergency, the recreation area and the landing bay can be quickly converted into additional berths.

Two messes flank the water tankage. Turbolift car maintenance and storage is aft. This area also serves as a passing alcove. So far I have shown turbolift cars at every stop but practically this would not be possible. Some, like the bridge stops, are a high priority and would therefore be constantly available, but others would remain empty unless called for.

Surrounding the cabins is a low-height equipment bay, containing air conditioning units and emergency batteries. A small Jeffries tube snakes between them, with corridor access at four points.

Finally, there are three upper hatches in the hull, with lift platforms located on Deck F. When the ship is captured by V-Ger, an oxygen-gravity envelope surrounds the ship, and a pathway appears.

Kirk’s landing party prepares to confront V’ger.

The LLD file, which I've now added, only has Deck E with the upper hull of Deck F. Deck D is missing unfortunately as it makes the file too big, and I didn't want to make separate posts.

Quoting Kurt's MOCs Nice work! The V'ger reference is epic! Question: do you have references for all of the detailed parts, like how the phaser banks are constructed, or where the Jefferies tubes are located? I remember you wrote that you used a reference book. I'm just curious what other sources you've been using and are they commensurate with your work?
Hi Kurt, the blueprints I'm using do actually show the Jefffries tubes in this case, although it doens't describe them or give the size. Other things like the phaser banks are based on fan art I have found from numerous sources. Or, for things like waste management, I'm extrapolating a design from a 2D shape on the blueprints. The Shane Johnson book is largely non-canon now but its individual room plans are based on set designs. Andrew Probert also provided some consultation and concept art.

Thanks guys. Actually I got the curve of the upper hull wrong, I made it very serpentine in profile like the original series version, when in fact it should be mostly concave. But you can only see that in the profile view, so I probably won't try to fix it. Too many internal changes. But Decks A–C are looking real good so far!

Every Part of this WIP is impressive.....This build should be exposed in a Star Trek museum. Your lego refit is more accurate than some official 3D models..... love it <3
