NCC-1701 Enterprise Refit (Part 4 WIP)
The middle ring and lower hull of Deck G.
About this creation
This area is filled with auxiliary systems and equipment, with a series of interconnected Jeffries tubes threading between them and connecting to the corridors in the middle and the outer ring.

The Jeffries tubes here are cramped crawlspaces.

Much of the low-height area is used for long term and consumables storage, while larger or more frequently accessed cargo is handled in the secondary hull.

Various hatches provide access to the cargo holds.

Waste reclamation unit. In space, no one can hear you s*it.

Transporter emitters. I tried to find a medium size between the massive ones I built for the TOS Enterprise, and the ones we see on the hull of the Enterprise-D.

Subspace transceivers – another important piece of equipment missing from the Schmidt plans!

The refit Constitution has four emergency landing pads.

Originally I’d thought of making the hatch into the actual footpad, but that wasn’t practical in LEGO™.

The leg swings down about 65º.

The telescopic portion reaches just past the lower sensor dome.

And the articulated foot deploys.

The rest of the saucer is coming together quickly! Stay tuned.

Landing pads are nice pieces of engineering, congratulations!
