"House of Law". A build not necessarily modeled after a specific capitol building, but for sure in the same style.
About this creation
The 2016 Mini MocOlympics

My opponent's homepage.

Category: Pair Dare
Select two specific kinds of pieces (for example: the 1x2 brick and the jumper-plate) and then create a MOC using ONLY those two specific kinds. Feel free to use multiple colors of those bricks but they must be ONLY those two bricks. Choose wisely!

I chose the 1x1 corner panel and 1x2 tile for this round.

Like my previous entries, this MOC is mainly designed to be viewed from one angle - in this case, the front. I've included a couple extra photos just to show what it looks like from other perspectives, but it's really at its best in this shot.

I was really stumped as to what to build for this category. I wanted to avoid "obvious" choices, like cheese slopes, and create something more original and which involved more innovation on my part. I built some houses with roof tiles and panels first and really liked the design, so I dumped out every corner panel in my bins and made this. The entire build is held by gravity only.

Here's a birds' eye view. It took me almost 2 hours of brick-by-brick building to finish this. It got to the point where I had to use a pencil to nudge pieces exactly where I needed them. I really like how this turned out, and I will hopefully be making a version of this that uses more than just the two parts.

I want to wish the best of luck to my very talented opponent, Lobo 630! Can't wait to see what he makes for this super challenging category.

Forget everyone else, this build is perfect! I'm only taking one point off because it's a bit delicate. 9/10.

This is some really neat architecture. I like the pieces used, the build is fantastic, and I like the fact that it can't easily be moved. It's a solid, yet delicate build. Great work. 8/10
