A Rahi native to the island of Botana, where the Island RPG takes place. I actually built it several months ago, but it fits the bill for the Island fairly well.
About this creation
Colors: Silver, brown
Analogy: Sort of like a seal, but with blades instead of front flippers, a shark's tail, and an angler fish's head.
Length: 10-20 ft (Taku-Nua continue to grow throughout their lives; they have been known to reach lengths of 30 or even, in rare cases, 40 feet long)
Weight: 200-500 lbs (Varies similarly to length)
Powers: Ripping, tearing, biting, lacerating, and otherwise decimating anything that comes within its reach. However, Taku-Nua have no supernatural powers to speak of.
Habitat: Common throughout coastal waters, but mostly in northern seas. Bigger ones tend to live farther out.
Other Information: Taku-Nua are extremely fierce, attacking anything smaller than them to enter their territory. They tend to gather in schools close to shore, but the bigger ones farther out are generally loners. The largest on record was a stunning 53 feet from fang to tail. Taku-Nua are hunted by many Helgaran and Terengua villagers, because they diminish game fish populations or simply for sport. Their brown carapaces are prized for use in armor, and the blades for, well, blades. They will eat anything smaller than them, and hide from anything larger, a task they excel at due to their hydrodynamic forms. Taku-Nua should never be engaged by beginners.
