My MMO Round 3 entry! By Roanoke Handybuck!
About this creation
This build is for the 2016 MMO Contest!

For this round, my very talented and friendly opponent is Justin Li and his Wonderful Entry!

Honestly, this topic was pretty simple, and easy, but I did something that I think will surprise you! You will just have to wait and see!

So anyways, I have built a river, it is a nice place to sit and have a picnic, and enjoy the scenery!

But water isnít confined to just rivers is it? Of Course Not! Water is also drinkable and makes for a refreshing swallow after eating!

So yeah, I have made a glass of water, pretty simple. And also it leads us to the question, is it half full or half empty? That is up to you to decide!

Looks like the minifig is thirsty too! If only they made it in his size. :)

But wait thereís more! How do we get across the ocean? By boat of course!

Well, do you know what a good fairytale of crossing the ocean has? Large crashing waves of course! Which leads me to one more thing! This build is functional! I made a function, where the waves roll, making this a good fairytale! Here is the Function!

Sorry for the bad quality pictures!

I hope you enjoyed!

So, my topic is water, and because it is such a broad topic, I decided to make 3 builds!

Constructive criticism and comments are accepted, so please tell me what I can do better!

Good luck to my opponent Justin! The judges will have a tough time figuring out which to choose!

To God be the glory!

Quoting D H Neat builds, and no shame in losing to good competition, you can be proud of your great MOCs :)
Thanks! Yeah, I am not sad about getting to 3rd round for my first competition! And Justin did awesome! :)

Quoting Justin Li Fantastic round, Roanoke! It was super intense waiting for the last couple votes to come in.
Thanks Justin! Good luck in the other rounds!

Quoting Commander Bricks In the first and second build I didn't see one new technique. In the first one the rockwork was not varied, it was pretty much just some slopes stacked up. The second one looked like you got it out of the LEGO IDEAS book. The 3rd one's the best of the three. The technique's very effective and almost wins it for you. But due to the reasons stated above your opponent gets my vote.
Thanks!

Quoting City Creator I am unfortunately voting for your opponent because the builds don't seem to have any interconnecting theme (apart from the obvious) and each of them, except for the last one, has minor execution errors.
Quoting First Build
The rockwork is a bit simple on the first build, and the water was just placed sporadically. You could have used your lighter bricks closer to the shore and darker bricks further away, or something along those lines.
Quoting Second Build
It's a pretty simple build and I have seen it done numerous times before.
Quoting Last Build
This is probably the best build you have, and had you posted it alone, you probably would have gotten my vote. Good luck with the remaining judge!
Thanks City!

Quoting Tucker Marley Despite the simple rockwork, I enjoy also how you mixed the different shades of blue. Though it looks more like rapids on the far side than a calm river. You get my vote, mainly cause of the first build though.
Thanks Tucker! Yeah, I need more rock slopes, I ran out. ;)

Quoting Hacim Bricks Your opponent gets my vote. reasons being: build 1: the rocks are very simplistic, and I agree with MCLB on the water.- build 2: it's simple, I've seen similar builds in the past.- build 3: Halhi did a very similar build awhile back basically using that same technique for moving the water. Weather you have seen his build or not idk, but the fact that I have makes it less impressive. Particularly since beyond the moving water it's a rather simple build too.
Ok, that is understandable, Justin had a really good build, and I am not taking that from him! Thanks again!

Quoting MCLegoboy ! I warned you about the multiple builds, and they are not all of the same caliper in my opinion. The first one, you did it again, you did what I've always hatted in builds involving water which is mixing every color seemingly randomly, but it is not as jarring as it was in your first build. I still think it could have been more organized though. Then you have the glass which is something. I don't know what to really say about it because there's not much to talk about, you did everything that can be done to make a glass correctly. Now, that last build, if you had just entered that, I would have been really happy. The function is great. That last build is fantastic, and it is all you really needed for this category. You are getting my vote, so you can stop sweating now, but it is more because of that ship than anything else.
Thanks MCLegoboy!

Quoting Justin Li Not sure how I feel about going against 3 separate builds...but hey, they're all solid! I like the function on the last one. Turned out way better than mine. Good luck! :)
Thanks Justin! I think yours is better than mine! I dislike my glass of water, it will be fun to see how the votes come out!

Quoting C Stucky Nice. I think maybe for contests one build would be better than several. However, you did use some interesting writing to tie it all together and good builds as well.
