About this creation

while I bought this kit for an ML ship,
I was uninspired to do the mod right now.
so, I decided to do another kind of project I wanted
for some time, mostly in my next extension,
in the meantime, this is it.
the whole scene

the original ship + a lifeguard-nurse to keep moral
at high seas

the extended underwater scene with a bigger wreck.

marine exploration
an extension is coming soon...

Quoting Subic Vedran Realy great creation. Only fish in the back are too equaly apart form each other and in lines. Kind of not fit in otherwise so organic biotop.
thanks Subic! you re right, I ll try to avoid that if I do another one.

Quoting JM . Love all those fish in the background :D
thanks JM! I went for broke with my small fishes, and used all I have, with the extension, it s obvious that I lacked a few to make perfect, in time, I will get more to make sure I can afford to build the ideal underwater full of life scenes.

Quoting Magma ! It's always good to see amazing underwater scenes done out of LEGO. But it's even better when they are so large!
thank you Magma! what brought me back to use lego were big scenes like those by Keith Goldman in 2009, and other big scenes artists, I love the immersive pictures where you feel that you are there, in a total fig world. I usually tend to push this effect further by making stories, and my ultimate goal is to make movies, while I made a few, only one was posted in 2011, [street racing in Cybercity]I still hope to produce one that will satisfy my vision.

Quoting LegoPredator ! Excellent underwater scene!
thanks LegoPredator! looking at it, I think that I can do better next time by hiding the corners of the scene with rocks, although I had figured this while building, it slipped my mind in the process... dhohh... when I recalled, it was too late, I did nt want to spend hours correcting, next time....

Quoting Justin Li Thought that water was real from the thumbnail...
thanks Justin! ha, ha! I tried to reproduce it as well as I could by adding wave effects, I had hoped that being out of focus in my pics, it could produce a realistic water surface.

Quoting D H Beautiful scene! Great water and wave and lighting effects from the main angle!
thanks D.H.! I had to put 2 different l.e.d. light bands to have the proper atmosphere, I did not expect to have to use more than one, that s why the other one is not visible, as it was planned, if I ever make another, it will be hidden better, it s my only disappointment in the scene.
