Micro-scale version YT1300 Millennium Falcon
About this creation
This is my micro-scale take on the most famous YT1300 in the galaxy: the Millennium Falcon. This has a flaw or 2, and I opted for all gray, and no accent colours, but I'm happy to have accomplished another challenge. Enjoy!

Thank you for viewing!

I think you were right to do it all grey - elegant and unfussy. Nice!

Quoting Jeremy McCreary Nice micro rendering, Jack. Don't recall the "real" thing well enough to pick on details, but it's still instantly recognizable, and at this scale, that counts for a lot.
I appreciate the compliment! :-)

Quoting Jimmie Martinez Most excellent micro Falcon. I do agree that the center is about 1 stud off from being the true saucer shaped fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy we all know and love Still all the major details are well represented in this scale. BOAJEWD and keep on brickin.
I appreciate the compliment, and I'm going to spend some time on the side revising this. :-)

Quoting eric s It should look better using the shorter slope bricks making up the forward mandibles.
I've been reworking it thanks to Justin's excellent feedback, and I did in fact go with the shorter slopes! :-)

Quoting Justin Li Shape's a little strange but nice micro. IDK how you made it (obv) but if there was a way to shorten the middle section by a stud that might look better.
I always appreciate constructive feedback! I agree about the shape, I tried different pieces to keep the roundness of the rear intact, but ended up with an odd elongation. Unfortunately the way that it is constructed makes shortening it very difficult. I think I'll spend some more time on this, get it right! :-)
