Hello again my friends. Today I show you another refurbished unit. One of my favorite ambulances, the Ford F-450 Downtown Hospital NYC. Added new details such as the bigger and custom chromed wheels, wheel arches at the body, 1x1 transclear flat tiles and some other stuff. Also renewed some of the stickers. Some months ago it got a custom lighting kit from LifeLites LLC. Hope you like the new style of the ambulance. Thank you very much for rating and commenting. Greets, Sven
About this creation

Forget to show you the reflective tape ;)

Thanks so much Josh :) Appreciate your kind words a lot! Doing a five to six wide model isn't much complicated. You only need some Technic bricks with holes, some pins and jumper plates (the ones with the stud in the center). The cab and body are built as seperate sections and put together with the Technic pins.
Thank you so much my very good friend. Yeah, saw it today on Brickset! Looks great with all the details. But first the Big Ben Set ;) The new tile is pretty cool. Hope they do this one in red and white (transparent) sometime.
In your eyes it would be the master craftsman, but I would say I'm a talented builder with an eye for details ;) Thank you so much for your really nice comment and much bigger compliment my friend. As always from you I really appreciate every single word.
Hello Jeremy my friend, thank you so much for your very kind words! The Ford grill is one of the last sticker made grills. Now I use bricks only but this one was so nice that I decided to keep it. Yeah, with the new camera I'm able to take nice pics in my downtown area without any problems.
Hey Henrik my friend, thank you so much for your kind words. I agree with you, really like the bigger wheels. This was the last ambulance in my collection with small wheels. All other small wheel ambulances are retired. Next new one could be NYC Presbyterian or Mount Sinai St Lukes ambulance.
It takes imagination and creativity to build with LEGO's for it literally means "play well". It takes an experienced builder to make a realistic model out of a child's toy. It takes a master craftsman to elevate a realistic model into the realm of absolute perfection. Can you guess which one you are Sven my friend. BOAJDTAP.
Thank you so much for your nice comment my friend, Julia is fine except the pollen allergy she's struggling with. Thanks a lot for asking ;) And how about you? Greetings back to you in the States from us in Germany :) Take care
