Here is my another mecha / robot which transform into a classic style motorcycle, named Cy-Kill. It is not a transformer but this character appeared in both GoBot and Machine Robo toy lines and animation series.
About this creation
Cy-Kill is the name of several fictional characters from the Gobots, Robo Machines and Transformers toy line and fiction¡K For more information about this character, please visit the following link : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cy-Kill

GoBots was a line of transforming robot toys produced by Tonka from 1983 to 1987, similar to Transformers¡K. For more information about GoBot, please visit : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gobots

The building path for this creation was a bit tough to me and I have ever thinking to give it up. In building a mini figure scale motorbike, I realized that I can only use limited quantity of small piece to put on in order to manage the size. Making it as smaller as possible is the main objective of this project, and of course, to manage the transformation and articulation for the robot. Finally, it ended up like this as you see and I hope you guys will like it too.

I really wish Lego company could produce more new small pieces of brick in different shape, to contribute the builder like me. So we can build something more in detail, delicate and compact. I think this is what the trend going to be for the toys manufacturing nowadays. This could also be a good organization strategy to gain market share and to compete with the large competitor like K-ero.

I love all kind of motorcycle and I enjoyed building it with Lego. I hope I can build a transformer in race bike looking in the future.

The engine is located underneath of the bike and a cooler / radiator is at the front of the engine. I did not make a bike stand for it because it may looks weird if I do it.

The only thing I am not so happy with is his riding position. Mini figures just have the short legs, not even say to reach the floor.

Get start to transform!

Re-assemble the engine to the back of robot, as well as the wheels to his shoulders.

Transformation done!

So far, I do not have so much experience and technique to build a large size mechs or robot. But rather I would focus more on building small to medium size mecha which I think it could be more easy to handle the stability and budget is another issue.

I used an old vintage Lego helmet that I ordered from Bricklink for the robot¡¦s head just because I like it looks not so much like a human helmet.

Its weight is light. It is not hard to make it stand stably even though it has no foot articulation at all.

This is what the original toy released in 80¡¦s look like, not quite poseable.

Thank you so much for watching!

Quoting Scott Bourgeois Awesome Cy-Kill, but he needs a Leader-1 to pick on.
Well, that's a good idea... Leader-1 is quite a big project if I go for mini-figure scale, perhaps I should go on with my Starscream first (still a F-15). Thanks anyway.

Quoting Daniel Ringuette I remember this guy! I used to watch the cartoon when I was a kid! You did a fantastic job recreating him in Lego! There is a lot of detail for such a small scale! He also has excellent articulation! Well done Alex!

Quoting Paulo D. If I'm not wrong, this guy made several cameos in classic Transformers episodes! Great job Alex, looks really neat!
Really Paulo? If you remember correctly, then I should change the title to Transformer to attract more attention, haha. Thanks anyway.
