LOM UC: The Defense of Reedus
About this creation

The Defense of Reedus

Susan,
The defense of Reedus is not going well. The dwarf armies are far larger and better-organized than we had expected. We have lost countless men already, and the dwarves are still making territorial gains.
It is my first time engaging in war, and now I can finally see the realities of combat. Until now, I saw casualties as numbers, outcomes as facts, tactics as trivia. Now, being involved in the events changes everything. The numbers become people; the trivia become my life; the facts become my fate. It is a new world that I find myself in, and it is not a favorable one.
I implore you to leave the city as soon as possible. Our faction as a whole is no longer safe, but Carthal is safest right now - the dwarves have paid it little enough attention that you should find safety there. It is quite possible - likely even - that I will soon die. I insist, therefore, that you must survive: my life is expendable, but your life is invaluable.
Tomorrow is our last hope. If we can fend off the dwarves, then we will gain the upper hand. But if we should fail, then, I fear, Reedus will be lost, and Mythron shall soon fall.
-Peter

The Defense of Reedus

A bit of tricky landscaping here, especially given that I don't have any small green tiles. It was all based around the tower design. Another challenge was the path - in my last micro build I couldn't find a good way to include a path, but the smaller scale here allowed me to use some more complex techniques.

Thanks for viewing!

Quoting VAkkron At least I'm not the only one who takes 2 hours to build something this small. Really good work Halhi, it's a great scene, though it looks better character-less. That lends more opportunity to the imagination. ;)
I agree, the figures were an afterthought (I had forgetting that I needed to show a battle until after I had already started to post this)

You now need a minifigure in a soft hat carrying a 4-stud rod with a 1x1 plate with ring on side attached to the bottom with a white stud on the ground. Then you would have Mythron Mini-Golf!
