"Brothers until the end."
About this creation

Name: Toa Krayan
Aliases: Chains
Element: Telekinesis
Colours: Blue and black. (Formally brown)
Personality: Leader, strong and willful. Recently, wise and forgiving, won't back down if threatened.
Bio: Originally from Mata Nui. Krayan lived most of his matoran life as a early settler to Quaza Magna. He witnessed the murder of a toa. The dying toa gave Krayan a toa stone in his last moments. The other toa, thinking Krayan killed the toa, tracked him down. By the time they found him, Krayan had already activated the toa stone. Krayan was sent to the newly rebuilt Pit, the prison where criminals who committed unforgivable crimes were banished to. There, he made friends with a then toa prison guard named Lavok and convinced him that he didn't kill the toa. Krayan also adopted the name Chains there as he was always restrained him with Chains as they were scared of his toa powers. Chains escaped the prison and went to find the person who killed the toa that gave Chains his toa stone. After defeating him, Mata Nui re-awoke and cleared Chains' name. After serving a long time as a toa. His brother, Maku, went missing. Chains got horrifically mutilated and brutalized. Toa Hydro, rebuilt his body and Chains continued fighting the Followers. After the death of Mata Nui, Chains became unforgiving. He stated that he was not a toa anymore and subsequently killed Lewax. After the battle, Chains became the leader of the remaining toa (Now named Hunters.) He fought against many rogue matoran survivors and remaining Shadow Mutants. Chains went to a dark place and became very protective of himself and the other Hunters. An army of Matoran survivors decided to attack the Hunters, known as the MRG, and tried to rid them from existence. After that threat had been dealt with, another problem arose 3 years later as they were on the brink of getting off of Spherus Magna. A gang of Dark Hunters arrived and threw a spanner in the Hunter's plan. After a long and reckless battle, Chains sacrificed himself to save his friends and destroy the portal. After a valiant fight, Chains was eventually defeated and murdered by Trakon, the Follower he fought since becoming a Toa.

Bye!

*Forth Wall*

And that was Chains: Legacy! I really hope you like him! Got a bit of bad news though, despite him still being my pages mascot, he will not be featured in my new story, this is most likely the final version and here's the kicker! He's already rip. Yup, dismantled...But I have put his parts to good use. :3 Just a little update for the new story whilst I'm on the topic, It's coming along quite well. I have most of the characters sorted out and have built 9 of them. Now all I need to do is actually write a plan for how I want Book 1 to play out. I'm really really excited to tell you all about it, it has been in the making since last summer. Concrete details coming after I finish the plan. I won't restrict myself to any estimate of date or month, but it will be here in 2016, just give it a little time. With that, I guess I won't be posting much for a while so I guess this is a goodbye for a little bit. I'll still be as active as always, commenting and the like, just not much posts until the next update which hey, who knows? It may be sooner than you (or I truth be told :P) expect.

Awesome, the trans blue and the shape of the torso with the cape looks great. Gives off this awesome kinda fantasy/skyrim vibe, it's great, really fits the sword. Love it!

Quoting [ C.P.D. ] Wow, this MOC is really nice looking. My only critique would be that the lower leg armour sticks out too much and the "wings" (as RT called them) don't look much like wings. I thought they were tendrils.
Thanks! I see what you mean. The wings were like that to appear more skeletal as Chains was quite ill at the time of this version. I see how you can see them as tendrils though.

Quoting Wertman 8 Very nice work here, sir (though we've already seen this) I'm glad Chains got a send off as good as this! I thought the Jankori-style colour-scheme was very interesting for Chains, and it makes him certainly stand out! The shin armour seems a little awkwardly done IMO; I don't think the 2.0 torso pieces work as shin designs, honestly. I like the Skull Villain torso armour on chains, but because of the way the ribs receed at the top, it looks somewhat awkward without any add on pieces. Maybe some kind of add on would have made that better (not necessarily the Black Phantom chest, as that would have been too bulky, and none of the prints would have matched, but maybe something else.) Other than that, this is an amazing final form for Chains! Well done!
Thanks man! Yeah I can see what you mean with the flaws. I'll try not to repeat the same mistakes in future.

Quoting Dark Aeon Not sure what to make of this version. On one hand, Inlike the black and trans light blue color scheme, and on the other, there's the gap between the front shin armor and the back, and that distracting red axle on his crotch. The wings, though cool, seem rather pointless. I'll be a bit generous and give you a 4/5 on this one. Too bad he's dead, otherwise my criticism may have been of use to you.
Thanks for the C&C, You're still helping out by leaving that stuff as it will teach me to avoid it in future MOCs.
