Royal Yacht Britannia
Well atlast here it is in its display case in Leith Scotland home of the real ship, this has been great fun and a real challenge to build.Bob CEO from the Britannia and his staff have been most helpful helping to set this up my fiancee (critique) being very patient with this in the kitchen and other rooms in the house, sourcing all the pieces needed some 40,000 (first comission) a change from warships and fishing vessels, plus money no object means you can use any pieces you need, the LED lights just top it off.overall its 11ft long 18 inches wide, the trans blue 1x1s give a nice effect to the water,(Nate Flood) gave me the idea with his U,Boat pen,all the boat davits work as they do on the real ship, interior piano etc was something different from the usual, anyway hope you like it. http://www.theedinburghreporter.co.uk/2016/02/royal-yacht-britannia-now-available-in-lego/ PS if you ever get the chance to see the real ship its well worth the visit very impressive attraction and the food is excellent as is the staff

Quoting Mark B. Epic build. The shaping everywhere is awe-inspiring, especially the curved surfaces of the superstructure and the funnel. The deck planking really looks good, too. As great as those exterior features are, though, I'm blown away by the interior details that you've managed to include, like the car and the piano.
thank you for your comments just shows when money is no object the difference in quality esp builds at this scale, although not without its problems, when your building for a customer it changes, things your happy to make do with are not to their satisfaction,it was a great build rebuilt and dismantled atleast 3 times, then extras like the tearoom and later once finished the lights which was another stripdown and rebuild but i do love it,the colours and fine details, dark brown tiles are very limited and only come in certain sizes,as was the dark blue (very poor bricks)which fall apart and i could not get bigger than 2x2s,the car was a challenge as i am not great at them, still have better wheels to go on it yet.i looked at 100s of lego pianos trying to get an idea of how to build one

Another dimension has been reached in the MOC Universe !!!! I am just lacking a proper superlative adjective to qualify that Custom made ship. That's a master-master-masterpiece for sure.

Incredible work! Such attention to intricate detail! I love so many aspects, especially the decking stripes, simple perhaps compared to other techniques you pulled off but came out amazing!

Rule Britannia! Great job on the beams in the keel of the ship. Cool how you can have it be both realistic and yet add to the structural integrity of the model.

Congratulations on an excellent job! What an honor it must be to execute such a commissioned Work. The Yacht is really beautiful, both hull and superstructure. The masts with rigging, davits and lifeboats provides a perfect maritime look, and as you said, the LED lights tops it off.
