About this creation

The Tourney

The Pig Rangers of Nerogue

My honorable opponent
Kyle Breidenthal

~Bracket one

~Watermill Defense:
Watermills are important aspects of any medieval society. They grind grain into meal to allow us to beak bread. As a critical link in the food production chain, they are also critical in any war effort. Build a watermill, and show your character defending it or preparing to defend it.

Stephan fighting off a dwarf while shooting another one.

Jaron struggling in a fight against a skilled dwarf swordsman.

Jimmy the frog and Stewart the pig ranger. It looks like Stew needs to lose some weight.

Now the build. here it is without minifigures.

And here is the build without minifigures and the wheel.

The waterfall and rockwork.

The millhouse, and Stewart really needs to lose some weight.

The heroes and villains of this build. and the fat pig and amazing frog.

C&C Appreciated

You named a pig "Stew"? How insensitive! The duel is great, though, and the water pipe as well.

One of your coolest builds, the roundness of it all is awesome, especially with the water. And you have broken up your normal color code, which is a step in the right direction, I think.

D: You didn't make it... :'( Kyle's cool tho. :)

Very nice build with some great textures. I quite like the light blue as it breaks up the grey wall a bit.

Blue doesn't work for me... It was very close still, your rocks are good, but I am going to have to vote for your opponent.

I agree with Micah. The blue in the stonework really breaks it up and adds a splash of unnatural color to the build.

The blue in the stonework is a bit out of place, but the shaping here looks very natural. Great work!

Closest match-up of the round I think. Great stonework, although I don't like the light blue. Overall I think your build was a bit cleaner and more detailed than Kyle's so you get my vote. good luck with your other judges!

Nice job. The stone work looks good. I think with the water, it would help if the blue water transitioned into white water instead of an abrupt change. Good luck. I wish we could both move on

This is a really great MOC, Joel! The blue in the stonework doesn't quite blend with the color of the grass... but the water wheel and aqueduct look amazing! Good luck in R2!

Quoting Dave Zambito Very nice! Really like the rocks and the way the water mill fits in so nicely to the surroundings and style :)
Thanks Dave :)

Don't usually see the periwinkle/baby-blue/cornflower/whatever-the-proper-name-for-the-color is on medieval houses, but it really really works well here. Best of luck in the competition! :-)

Thumbs up! Really liking this one, Joel. The stonework, the rockwork, and the water are all really good. My favorite part has got to be that roof tho :D
