I like the studs for that sense of motion. Very nice.

You get my vote. This seems to convey very well the panic an avalanche instills.

I agree, the rocks were waaay to gappy, but I only had about 30 minutes of build time per day, and I also had relatives with small children constantly destroying my creation, so at 1:12 AM on the 24th I just had to call it good. Thank you for the votes.

The effect you got with the all-studs approach for the avalanche is epic! The rest of the build is great too, though I agree that the rocks are a little too gappy.

More slope would have been good, though I think yours is still better at it is a lot less chaotic. You got my vote.

Awesome work, this is why I didn't want to be up against you. The contrasting textures of the snow is really nice. I love the base too. Good luck with the other judges (though I doubt you'll need it).

Nice boulders and snowy avalanche here. Very realistic.

The rocks, though they have some nice textures and shaping, are too gappy for my liking, but I love the way you conveyed the avalanche with the contrast between the smooth snow and the studded snow, rather than the predictable approach of "falling rocks". You get my vote; good luck with the other judges!

Great build, Micah! The avalanche looks great and your rocks do as well though perhaps they have a few too many gaps, that's pretty hard to get right in this style of rock work though and you've done a great job. Good luck in R2!
