The Aquashuttle made a single appearance in Star Trek, in the 1973 animated episode "The Ambergris Element."
About this creation

Scotty prepares to launch the Aquashuttle to the planet Argo.

The Enterprise carries only a single shuttle of this type.

The Aquashuttle can be operated on the surface like a floating craft.

It can also submerge to study indigineous lifeforms.

Oh boy – got a little too close!

The interior seats six with a rear entry hatch.

Impulse engines are not visible on the series, so I placed them where I thought it made the most sense. I also scaled the model close to the F class shuttle.

Screenshots from the episode.

Thanks for viewing and Merry Christmas!

Quoting Gabor Pauler Whao! I love that windscreen! Deadly retro-futuristic.
Thanks! It's too high up to be of much use though, so I've also given the crew a large forward viewscreen.
