Gremlins Gizmo
Don't feed him after midnight! *Update - now on LEGO Ideas!
About this creation
*Update - Gizmo has been pusblished on LEGO Ideas, here.

I submitted this to LEGO Ideas, but the project was denied. The reason the project was denied was due to "licensed property that doesn’t fit the LEGO Group’s standards for appropriate content or themes."

Here are some of my other LEGO Ideas projects.

Working Pinocchio Marionette with Jiminy Cricket minifigure.

Invader Zim and Gir brick-built figures.

New renders for these projects coming soon.....

These Gizmo images can be found in high resolution on my Flickr.

Great Moc! Who cares what TLG think? They are just the manufacturers of a medium. Like an artist would ever care what Faber Castel, Derwent or Prismacolour thought about what they drew with their pencils? Fantastic sculpting here dude.

Quoting Kermunklin the Giant Evil House Head Wow! That is super-fantastic! Superior work! As for it being denied by LEGO, well I suppose that movie did make a lot of kids cry back in 1984 (including my little sister), so I guess maybe I can sort of understand why they wouldn't accept it. Kind of. I guess any LEGO Ideas Evil Dead sets are right out. Still, that is one top-notch Mogwai!
Thanks for all the positive feedback!

Quoting Oliver Becker Okay, now I see! I thought you used flesh- coloured bricks in this MOC! Never mind, also with your non- acceptance by LEGO! My TINTIN was accepted by them, but most people don't like my big-figs, more the mini- fig variation by another builder! So, that's the way it goes, I believe... Go on with your adorable work! :)
Love your Salvador Dali by the way. :)

Quoting Oliver Becker Great composing of Gizmo in bricks, Buggyirk! May all these sculpting-bricks available in tan and flesh... ;)
Thanks Oliver! I wish all these bricks were available in these colors. I actually looked into Vinyl Dye spray for the bricks that don't come in these colors, but I couldn't find a tutorial that produced good enough results.

Quoting David Roberts Very skilfully done, with great choices of different browns/tans in just the right places. I like the Technic panel ears too.
Thanks David! I have always wanted to use those technic panels for something different than a vehicle. They were made to be Gizmo ears! Color placement is very important to me so I am glad you liked how they turned out.
