Hoth micro diorama - update Nov15th2015
Welcome to my microscale hoth battle diorama. Updated Nov15th2015
About this creation

One more Star Wars moc you're gonna say...
Well, few days ago I wouldn't have beleived I would make a moc on Star Wars theme as so many moc have already been made on these movies. But my microscale first attempts (avenger carrier and warships) changed my mind. While building those mocs I got some ideas that could match with echo base micro design. The door in particular was the starting point of my inspiration I guess.
So I chose episode V battle on planet hoth for this new moc. I must admit that Episode V remains my favorite in the saga.
I wanted to gather in the same diorama the 3 most specific items of echo base : The door, the power generator and the main battery.

I hope you like it.

Update november 15th 2015 : Following Dave Z. advice, I have changed the landescape to get something more flat.
Thank you Dave, I consider it much better this way

The previous design is shown here after :

I didn't realize that your main picture wasn't from the movie until I saw the real movie scene! That is amazing! I love this MOC! 5 out of 5, for sure. Well done!

Love that first pic! Awesome work with the super tiny features. I like the blast door build of the base. So simple yet so effective! Sweet stuff! Keep On Brickin'!

Nice changes, really highlights the main features. I still think that first pic is one of the best all Lego recreations ever :)

Very cool! The main pic is very well done. The terrain is a lil choppy, and can distract from some of the exceptionally done details
