Bill Cipher from Disney XD Show Gravity Falls (Minifigure scale)
This a minifigure scale version of the Disney XD cartoon character Bill Cipher.
About this creation

From the Gravity Falls Wiki: "Bill Cipher is a triangular dream demon formerly existent only in the mindscape who wished to gain access to the real world. He has been running amok in Gravity Falls, Oregon, since being summoned by Stanford Pines over thirty years ago. He is known for his mysterious demeanor and sadistic humor."

I bought a bunch of round plates with eyes on them at the LEGO store and did not really have a plan for them. I saw that a new Gravity falls is coming on Monday and inspiration struck. I must try to build Bill Cipher!

I think Bill is Disney's most creative character ever. He is demonic and funny at the same time. I love the chaos that he unleashes whenever he makes an appearance.

"Reality is an illusion, the universe a hologram. Buy gold. Bye!"

I set the scale of this MOC based on the size of the eye plate and the minifigure top hat. Then i tried to build the smallest 1 brick thick triangle I could.

The main features I wanted to capture was the overall shape, the eye, the hat, and the bow tie.

After playing around with slopes for an hour, I finally figured out how to get his small triangular shape to stay together. First I built the center section, form top hat down to his feet.

They I used SNOT to build the sides of his body.

I connected the sides together using more snot and a small LEGO Texhnic pin.

The two assemblies can be slid together, with the bow tie stopping the back to front motion. The top hat and the bottom jumper plate stop up and down motion. Its the first time I have ever slid LEGOs together without any gap showing.
