Fast and Furious Toyota Supra
About this creation
I asked the good people of Flickr if I should go ahead with the F&F version of the Supra, and judging by the fact it's one of my most favourited photos on the photostream, I'd say the general response is a yes.

There's not much to talk about with this model - the body kit was incredibly simple, the interior was basically just painting bits blue and adding some NOS. So...yay. I guess.

For a better look at the basic model, please check out my Stock version on the link provided, like, 5 words back. Cheers.

General look see of the front, which look a bit of tweaking to the front bumper to get the look I wanted. The bonnet vents are somewhat disappointing.

There was very little to be done with the rear bar, so the spoiler is the only major change. Note the illegal clips on the spoiler. Not a simple thing to do in LDD.

Everything that opens before-hand still opens. Desperately wish upon stickers, but a brick built decal will do. Doesn't look too shabby. Sorry about a lack of consistency in the colours - on the last two renders, POV-Ray's orange was (finally) more vibrant, for no apparent reason. Oh well.

Why nitro? Because race car.

On the hole, the engine is just shinier.

A little comparison between the stock and the not so stock.

Thanks for viewing guys! This is the first movie car I've built - it's nice to see something familiar. Up next is something that has killed me to death to build, so stay tuned!

Quoting Jonathan Gilbert Are there building institutions for this lego car?
There some for the standard model, but I'm afraid the parts for the Fast and Furious model don't exist in real life.

Quoting jds 7777 Very nice! How did you do an illegal Lego connection in LDD?
Thanks! Sliding the plates into position using clips and shafts. It's not acually connected, but pffffftt. Hope that helps!
Quoting Nick Barrett With the recent redesign of the clip holder elements, that spoiler connection is no longer illegal, and has even been seen in some recent sets... very cool mods, even the bonnet vents look fine; sometimes the simplest solution really is the best.
Oh...this changes everything. :D Thanks Nick!
Quoting Clayton Marchetti You did a brilliant job converting this to the Fast and Furious paint scheme! It looks fantastic! Thanks Same for your comment. It is greatly appreciated.

Quoting MortalSwordsman . Very cool Sam. Great shaping and colouring. Still upsetting to think about what happened to Paul Walker. RIP. I have a few builds on the go at this scale - I should have showed you them at Steam but they were hidden under the table.
Thanks Joe! Whhaaatt!? You..you were hiding stuff from me...? :D Haha, I look forward to seeing them!
Quoting Nils O. A very cool mod of your fabulous Supra, it looks just like the one from the movie. Great job, Sam! :-))
Thanks Nils! I'm tempted to do the Charger too...
Quoting Harry Gravett Nice work as per usual Sam, it's hard to replicate a paint job in LEGO particularly but you did a good job! All the other tweaks are very neat too :-)
Cheers mate. Paint jobs are always tricky.
Quoting Matt Bace Awesome! The shaping is great, but the coloring and detailing are what make this model really stand out.
Thanks Matt! The colours are always what catches people's eye.
