About this creation
Silently, an arrow zipped over the bow of Captain Armando’s Sea Eagle, burying itself in the night watchman’s chest. His eyes glazed over as he fell to the deck. A few minutes passed. A large black ship pulled up beside the Sea Eagle, dwarfing it. Silent as wraiths, buccaneers leapt from the mast aboard their own ship landing near the helm of the smaller ship and spread out. Some went to the helm, others the bow, but most of them stealthily made their way to the sleeping quarters of the sailors.

Before they opened the door, a tall lordly man with fiery red hair asked one of the younger men, “You know which one?”

“Aye,” was the blunt reply as the younger man drew a knife from its sheath. He then opened the door and entered followed by two others.

-

Jake heard a muffled thudding from the deck above. As suddenly as it had started it stopped. Jake uncomfortably rolled over in his hammock and tried to ignore dismissing it as the watchman playing some sort of game. Then he heard voices, whispering to each other! There was only supposed to be one watchman at night. “Unless he talks with himself,” thought Jake. “There must be two of them! Why would there be two of them at this time unless they were doing something underhand like planning mutiny!”

Quietly Jake got out of bed, grabbed his broadsword, and crept towards the room that contained the ladder to get above deck. As he made his way to the door by the other sleeping crew-members he noticed that none were missing. Puzzled, he reached for the handle. Suddenly the door was quickly but silently opened and Jake was standing face to face with four hooded figures. Before he could react he was struck on the head by a blunt object. Stars appeared everywhere as Jake felt himself falling to the floor. Then blackness took over.

Hey all,

I started this MOC back in July but life and builders block forced me to take longer than I wanted. Anyways, I'm thinking, in fact I'm through thinking of it, of introducing a new main character as I've got better ideas for it. He probably won't be introduced till possibly next month, or even December.

I might also take a short break from the LoM and tryout some sci-fi stuff just to try something new. Enough talking.

Also, this, I think, is a new steering wheel technique. Correct me if I'm wrong.

C & C appreciated.

The ships look quite nice! I do think that some of the hull is a bit flat, but other then that, very nice!

Nooo I wanted to make a black ship first! D: But not as big as this. :P Nice build here, Mariner. I agree the ships need more detail, and the shaping could use some work, but they're pretty impressive overall. Can't wait for that new character. ;D

Two very nice boats here! I do agree with Halhi, I think smaller, more detailed ships would have been better, but both of these are fine work. Keep it up!

Quoting Halhi 141 Nice job, I really like the front of the black ship. The moc suffers a bit from quantity over quality, I think; a smaller moc with a higher level of execution would have been preferable. Still, this is a good 3.
Thanks, I realized that halfway through the build. :P
