Heh, space pirates? Not after meeting this dude...
About this creation
I got the idea recently to try making a mega micro build (love the oxymoronicality of that sentence ;) ).
This is an Inter-Galactic Alliance (IGA) Dreadnought class starship, built for the purpose of defending the Global Coalition from the large scale attacks of the Galaxy Pirate Consortium.
Heavily armored and armed, this ship has shown itself to be superior in resolving conflicts and restoring peace to a war torn galaxy...
The engines include three Dual-core Pulsar Drives and two smaller Dark-matter Power Engines.
Oh, and those fins? Well, they disrupt radar waves to induce a certain amount of cloaking. Barely a shimmer will appear on the radar screen, if even that.
Better view of some of the armaments.
The smaller puppies are Quantum Point Cannons, capable of inducing significant damage (being about 20 feet tall and able to fire explosive shells of about 3 feet in diameter).
The large green tipped weapons are Quasar Emplacements. These fire an intensely huge ball of energy that in most conditions will fully destroy a typical enemy cruiser, or about an acre worth of area. Yeah, big boom ;) These will actually bi-pass most types of shields, especially force and deflector shields.
I tried about 6 different designs of landing gear for this guy. Most had to do with folding up in one way or another. Unfortunately, that didn't work so hot, so I went to standard stationary pads that look passable ;)
Not a stellar (or interstellar, ho ho) builder of sci-fi stuff, but I do kinda like how this guy turned out. Any tips or ideas from the professionals out there?
Well this is... astronomically good work, Promar. Oh yes, pun time: space puns. Your creation really is a... super-star. It seems to really be... out of this world good. And those details are just mind-blowing, with the microscale greebles really incredible. I mean, it's... once in a blue moon that I'll see them like that. Great work, buddy! God bless! :-)
