An assortment of builds I never posted individually.
About this creation
Well fellow enthusiasts, this is it for a bit! Life is removing me from my collection for a while. I still intend to build for Brickworld (perhaps more during summers), but my output online will decrease significantly for a few years. Not to worry! Lord willing, I'll be back with a vengeance in due time! And should you tire of viewing my MOCs here, you can always hop over to Flickr and view 'em again there (in hi-res, what's more)! Heh, heh, heh, that's what economists call incentive, kids. But jokes aside, thanks a million for being such an embracing, generous, and inspiring community. It's been such a blessing.
Thank You - A parting gift for my wonderful music mentor of multiple years.
Introducing Space Cadet K! A clueless sci-fi character originated by Simon Liu and myself. After TBB jokingly called me "space-kay" and Simon learned that my friends dubbed me Space Cadet in middle school (on account of my surname), a build was inevitable. You know... Simon... space... yeah. I built the figure. Simon supplied the engraved bricks. Today Space Cadet K explores a new frontier: Toronto! Someday he'll rank Captain Ian... someday... but he should probably start by dismounting the purple pile of alien excrement.

Insecta - For the traveling micro GARC display, debuted at BW 2014.
Thief - An experiment in negative space for the E11even Pieces Contest.
Mocpages won't be the same without you, man. I remember when I first came to the pages, discovering your profile and being amazed. You've been a big inspiration for me over the years, Ian, and it's truly been a pleasure getting to know you. You've always been very encouraging and supportive to me, and for that I thank you. Thank you for making me and many other builders feel welcome in this community. Even if you can't post much Moc-wise, I hope that you'll still find the time to post comments and post in groups every so often.
On a different note, I've always been a fan of your Mocs, but looking back on your first few, it is really impressive how far you've come. You've developed a very clean, detailed style that is unique, and I'll always look to your 1800's rooms for inspiration. Great work, God bless, and keep on bricking! :)
Those of you who've met me probably know I can be a bit of jokester, goofball, and tease at times. But friends, all I can say, in the sincerest terms and without putting on any airs, is that I'm truly humbled by your kind words. I read each of your comments. In reality, I don't deserve half of them, but I receive each as a gift. Thank you. And to God alone be all the glory!

Hopefully your wit and input will still be ever present if not the builds. As outstanding as your creations are, your presence is immeasurable here.
Thank you, Matt. Means a lot! I definitely hope to keep astride with the community and leave the odd critique and/or witticism now and again (school permitting, of course). ;) Cheers!
Quoting Brick Boy
I couldn't even tell the last picture was Lego!
Haha! I think that's more due to my amateur editing skills than anything else, but thanks all the same!
Quoting Jack Sparrow
Take care of yourself in absentia.
And you "keep a weather eye on the horizon" for my return! ;)
It's interesting how viewing things in different ways can greatly affect your opinion of them.
When I saw the thief I thought for sure you had tried - and failed - to draw something in paint. But when I saw it as the Lego pieces that it was/is, I was greatly impressed. Neat builds, Cadet K.
Of all the builders out there, Iíve always had the most respect for you, Ian. You are truly a great person. Thanks for everything youíve done. We will miss your wit and musical talent, not to mention your crazy building skills, during your absence. All the best with life and may God bless your pursuits.

It's always a wonderful pleasure getting a notification that you've posted a new moc, that joy will have to wait a bit. However, I can guarantee that when I next see an email regarding a new build from you, I will find that joy has grown exponentially. Make 'em beg for more! ;) Hopefully your wit and input will still be ever present if not the builds. As outstanding as your creations are, your presence is immeasurable here. Best of luck with those unimportant, non-Lego ventures better known as real life, and cheers in advance for your glorious return. ;)

You're honestly one of my favorite builders here. Not just because you're a freaking amazing master-builders but because you've got a great heart as well. Thanks for running MELO (My all time favorite contest) and for your contribution to MOCPages! Can't wait to see what you cook up next! :D
