Al Bern's Off-Road Monowheel
One fine day Al made a bargain, swapping neighbour Ed's old round swimming pool rack for his rusty field glasses. Ed's hobby, to get some ducks bathing in his swimmingpool by using his airgun made it unuseable for ever in very short time... So Al decided to do another great creation, was his 3-wheeler not usefull in rough terrain: after a while of ruminating he reminded of his old and useless riding mower. So it only lasts one weekend, after getting neighbour ralph's 2 prehistoric wagon wheels for a ridiculous price, to finish his off-road monowheel! This caused the problem, that his garage was to small for the new engine, but that's another story to tell another time... So I proudly present Al's new extravagant vehicle, kind of off-road ferris wheel if stepping on the gas to much... ;)

Quoting N B I really like this wonderful off-road monowheel! Al Bern is such a nice character, he should have his own account. Just looking at Al you can tell that you put a lot of afford in creating him. By using him in all creation he becomes "to live".But that was a bit off topic. I just admire all your creations!
Hey Nico, it's a pleasure you're dropping in for a minute or more ( ;) )! Thanks for these kind words regarding Al and his inventions and adventures. I grew up with great Donald Duck stories written an drawed by famous Carl Barks, the "Duck" Man. He invented the "little universe" of Duckburg a.s.o., also some great characters for major secondary roles. One of these is Gyro Gearloose, so Al's maybe a little homage to him. :)

Quoting Oran Cruzen If Al Bern makes a rocket, it will be such a blast! It could really take off!
Yup! Contrary to popular belief Al's more down-home and far away from a vertical takeoff tycoon! So he'll first has to overcome his vertigo and secondly gravitation! Hard to tell what's more difficult to do... But only the imagination about humming "Round, round, get around..." also in orbit, that's kinda motivation not to be underestimated, my good friend Oran ... ;)

Quoting Gerald F. This is very unique! I'm curious as to how a vehicle like this would run in real life. Very creative! Keep On Brickin'!
But this is reality, Gerald! Only a little bit virtual... Glad you've enjoyed this one!

Quoting Oran Cruzen Hey Oliver I just found out that albern means goofy! What did you think of the picture and idea I emailed you?
Oran, my good friend, you're quiet busy here and my remark was on Scotty's "ladder", but I tell it here again, yes again: A little after my answer to your last comment here it hanged in the survey of MOCpages because of a guy named "Stu"... LOL You can read it now below! I only think the best, I tried to tell you (lately) but it's a hard struggle for me with translation because of explaining it in the meant way! I'm bad with big scaled cars, also with the use of LEGOtechnic 'cause I've no experience in reality. The fig is no problem. Maybe it could be a collaborative project...? I'm always receptive to your suggestions, even you don't not believe this now. Be sure that... ;)

Quoting Oran Cruzen Hey Oliver my good friend, you have done it again, and again, and again, did I say again?, and now your MOC is going round, and round, and round, did I say round again?, and again again? Whew that was like a merry go round. Oh no, not round again... Hehe
Oran, you're the first, the last, my... But as an alternative song I could choose this famous one from the Beach Boys: "R... Apropos alternative, so you do like my alter ego Al Bern a little bit? He's a kinda weird but harmless, a little reminiscence of Gyro Gearloose from DD, 'cause Carl Barks is my alltime favorite of modern comic artists, on first place at all is Wilhelm Busch, the originator! So Al's name comes from german "albern", in english language "ridiculous", by the way! So thank you my good friend beeing the first 'ROUND here...! ;)
