municipal garage-recycling center combo 2015 version
About this creation
ok, so this is the latest most polished version yet,
interiors are the same, but, I improved on the sliding roof mechanism,
I also completely re-managed the bricks, added a brick layer, and protuberances
in the architecture.
I had to replace bricks, because, I was short on long beams then,
which made weaknesses in the structure, and made it heavier than it could,
also, I knew I was to add more bricks, as details,
like the snotted side panels.
these are the 10 new cars for Alta-5, el-caminos,
my goal was to make a few station wagons too,
but, I was short on windshields...
still, it s easy to convert now.
the changes on the roof are noticeable,
I have sealed and extended the shredder system,
and added solar panels and a condensator.
further details on the system...
I completely changed the studless patern on the crane rails.
I have left containers to demonstrate how the garage can get it s deliveries
for tools and equipment, but, also as an extra storage space for the FREIGHT DEPOT,
which now has to be adjusted at the exact same height, to allow
the 2 cranes to operate on both buildings via the passerelle.
you can see the depot in my trains folder,
as this location, only partial rebuild is required,
but, the effect should equally be noticeable,
as a more polished and refined piece.
when the depot is complete, I will post the whole combo,
4 big grey baseplates together.
as I bought the new kwik e mart,
I want to refine the stores as well,
the store accessories should add realism, but,
I want to make them slightly bigger as well,
adding more window surface on the facades.
thanks for your comments!
enjoy it on video!

the container system works with the freight depot, it creates a space between the 2 buildings, see my freight depot in my train file to see the system operate, thanks HT!

Really cool design. Though, I'm confused on how the containers get to the roof with no access to the ground. Just a thought...if the gantry cranes on top of building were separated by a street or alley...that's plausible. It would a wide crane. I mean no disrespect with this comment.
Oh i know that feeling, it took the new SC sets and inspiration from MOCpages for me to get started on vehicles again :-D If you want to see the houses i have been stuck building for a while, they're on my work page :-)
Quoting Clayton Marchetti
thanks Clayton! my goal was to get close to my fav oldie, the 55 chevy, I ll make stations as soon as I get windshields. it was supposed to be the next location for the mayor, I ll get there!
Quoting Kermunklin the Giant Evil House Head
thanks Kermunklin! it only happened once, with the train station, it crashed on the floor, as I moved it to another spot, usually, they are pretty solid, but, it s always stressful to do it, lol.
Quoting Deus "Big D." Otiosus
thanks Deus! videos take you there, just as an expo would, except it s focused on one building, and costs nothing, + it gets me used to the camera, and brings me closer to make movies.
Quoting Jared .
thanks Jared! those cars are complicated to build, as they are 5's, so, if I have to build some, it s better that I mass produce, it takes less time, and I m sure, on the spot, that they are identical, except for the color.
Impressive structure my friend. The video really helps showcase the scope and scale of the thing, especially that sliding roof. Very cool! I have to admit that I became very nervous when you started sliding the table around. Whenever I've tried to do that, my LEGO buildings tend to spontaneously leap to their deaths!
