NLO R2 - Andrew Spader vs. Joel Tyer
Bracket: Jadis. Category: Crowning of the Pevensie children at Cair Paravel
About this creation
My opponent's entry to the Narnia Lego Olympics .

Wrong will be right, when Aslan comes in sight,
At the sound of his roar, sorrows will be no more,
When he bares his teeth, winter meets its death,
And when he shakes his mane, we shall have spring again.
When Adam's flesh and Adam's bone,
Sits at Cair Paravel in throne,
The evil time will be over and done.

See the polar bear? Worse $2.75 I ever spent.

Builder's notes: Oh! What a build! I had two previous attempts, one of which failed miserably, the other was pushed off a table. Thanks so much to Joseph for his pieces and support.

For the praise of His glory!

~Andrew

Quoting Timothy M Well done, I really like the tiling and the glass windows. Wow, getting your creation pushed off a table would suck! :P haha I would so pay $2.75 for a polar bear, why is it bad?! Anyway excellent build! :)
Thanks, Timothy! The problem with the Polar bear is I can barely use him for anything....
Quoting Mariner 1000 Very nice job, Drew! The window and the floor design look great.
Thanks, Mariner! I just hope I can get by here...
Quoting Kermunklin the Giant Evil House Head Cool. The various floor techniques you used look quite good together. And I'll have to stay away from those polar bears, I guess...Good Luck in the contest!
Thanks!

Quoting Tim S Great work on the detailing and the stain glassed windows! However, the build comes across as a little cluttered at points and your opponents overall composition and clean lines was more appealing in my eyes. As such, he gets my vote.
Thanks for your time.

Quoting Aaron Gomez (Finn Tegotash) Nice! Great architectural details, especially the 1x1 tiles at the top and the flooring! However, your opponent's build had equally nice details and a slightly better color scheme and composition, so he gets my vote.
Thanks for the time!

Quoting Joseph Olson This is definitely your best build. And while some texturing in the base would have helped, IMO, I still love it. The dk. brown in the wall didn't show up as well in the Pics though... :( It looked so awesome too... Great work!
Thanks, Joseph!
Quoting Caleb Walker I love it bro! Nice flooring!
Thanks, Caleb!
Quoting Hildigrim Took Ooh, this is going to be tight!! I can't wait for the results! Great build and, I think it turned out fine ;)
Thanks, Hildigrim!
