Gold Rush
Custom Chopper. 1:20/Miniland Scale.
About this creation
I have caught the bug for building bikes and currently have several on the go. This chopper was not really a serious build but I have grown to like it so I thought I would post it.

The last photo shows a sneak peak of another hard tail I am working on as a gift for a friend.

Apologies for the lack of activity recently I hope everyone is OK :D

Even more impressive to see in person. Thanks for your time Joe! Your reaction when I mentioned who I was was priceless, by the way. XD Thanks again!

Awesome! Way cool design, in black it would look like the 'chopper from hell' :-D Looks great in gold though, in real life this or a copper-colored version would really turn some heads when on the streets. Really great use of parts overall too, but the fuel tank and V-engine are both particularly noticeable. Great work :-)

Thanks for the comments guys, glad you like it. One of those builds with few parts but it took me ages to do. Alas Technic Ted is just a little bit too small.

Brap brap brap brap! It's not a motorcycle, it's a chopper. Zed must be dead. ;) Awesome beast here, love the straight pipes. Good to see a use for the gold that isn't necessarily steampunk. Excellent!

Fantastic build, Great use of parts to make a well detailed and highly stylized chopper. It looks more like Jr's flavor of build rather than Sr's , It looks like it rolled out of OCC.10/10. BOAJVWD.

Oh Joe, that's a fine piece. My favorite bikes are choppers, was watching every OCC episode etc ;) If i had the money i would buy a "phat" chopper for cruising around many miles on empty roads. You did a fantastic job on this golden chopper and you used many nice building techniques. The bike in the background looks like a really nice "bobber" ;) It's nice to see you back here on Moc with new stuff.

I love the way that you've made the fuel tank and used the ray guns for its engine. The overall shape and skeletal fingers over the wheels remind me of Death's bike, on the cover of Terry Pratchett's "Soul Music".

Quoting Matt Bace Great work, especially at that scale! It looks like it just rolled out of the Orange County Choppers garage.
Thanks Matt. It is an awkward scale as there are no wheels available so the only choice is to stretch tyres over the cart wheels.

Quoting Joost Cumps Hi Joe, I like the bike very much! Sleek, amazing parts use (certainly not an easy job, since you've chosen gold as colour), elegant, easy rider! Cool!
Hi Joost. Thanks :D. I am experimenting with those new clip pieces to see if I can make bike frames. I have a few more at this scale - they are addictive. Also working on a much bigger 'bike' but have been sidetracked by these little guys.
