Don't you just love spring break? Well, even if for some peculiar reason you don't, I very much do. After all, it means Lego building for me... :D
I tried a new technique (for me) on this creation: Tiled walkways. Though it's kinda at a rough stage at the moment, it was fun to put it together and see the finished product. I'll definitely dabble in this area more...
You may have noticed, but I put a huge emphasis upon geometrically symmetric creations. I don't know if that's a flaw or an asset, but it's who I am. Therefore, when looked at from above, this creation is well centered on the bridge and everything else is symmetrical about it.
Here's the dry creek bed that the bridge goes over. I think that my Froggy pal was a little surprised and confused that there really wasn't any water in the creek. Poor guy... :(
Another picture of the tile work. Like I said, it's a bit rough at the moment but I intend to get better at it through experience and practice.
Thanks for viewing! Any tips about how to do the tile work better would be much appreciated.
Very nice Promar! :) I really think the geometrically symmetric is an asset, at least in this particular creation. I very much like this technique you used for the pathway, although, I would probably not have red flowers right next to the red pathway because it kind of blends and looks a little odd, but that's being really picky. Anyway you've done a fantastic job. Keep it up Promar! :D
Hmm. Not bad. I'd say you did pretty good on those tiles. Although I'm not sure if that's the best way to show a creek bottom, seeing as some of us us clear or blue studs like that for water, but it still looks alright. Keep it up!
