Adventure ain't all that hard to find...
About this creation
Hey ho y'all!
I've been away from my preciousss landscapes for a while and needed to get one built before I pop from... I don't know, craziness? Anyway, here's something that I put together yesterday to satisfy my craving.

In Nolan Aeras' travels, he comes across many different civilizations and peoples. This one is located in a slightly more barren area than usual. Nolan offered his services for a short while during an invasion led by a large group of barbaric pillagers who threatened to lay waste to all of the Angrecan region. He was posted at a crucial position in a narrow pass where the threat level was highest. Now he waits as eager for adventure as he is to help the less fortunate. Waiting and watchful...

Back story over, it's on to da pitchas...

Overview

This wood technique is so incredibly inspiring. I put two brown pieces together and knew immediately that I wanted to do a construction like this. Just run with the idea I guess...

Imposing you-better-skedaddle-or-else view. I don't know if it's just me, but every time that I take a picture of the tree leaves from below they really sparkle in the light. I kinda like it. A lot. ;)

No Fig

I tried out the bendy-tree look. It adds some good variation, but I'm more of a straight builder guy ;)

How'd I do? The whole Sci-Fi thing that I'm doing is pretty heavy since I've got to come up with something in a particular category (slightly suppressing my imaginative random style). And since I'm pretty bad with that specific genre (as with many others), it's a huge relief to be able to work on something like this for a change. Very refreshing and soothing... But hey, how can I improve if I don't expand? Nothing for it: CHARGE!!!...

Thanks for viewing!

God bless,

~Promar~

Exceptional! :D I just can't get over how that wooden flooring technique looks so realistic! And I'm a huge fan of the way you've made those trees bend. Sensational work Promar! 5/5

Well done! You are getting better with every build! (Of course, isn't that the idea?) And that wood technique was something I had not seem before at all. I may have to steal it sometime. Don't worry, I'll give you credit. Looking forward to more from you! Keep it up!

Very nice! It looks great with some of your usual pretty scenery! And that curved wall technique always adds something special to a model! Well done!

Awesome job! Great work on the wall and rocks, very fluid transition between them.

Very neat techniques! I feel that the base could have used some more texturing, but that is just me.

That roof looks familiar. :P It looks great the way you've utilized it here, though. Nice work!
