About this creation
A new fish (the old one here) with lots of changes compared to the previous version:
- Revised body: this one does not look like fishbones. However, it is still composed of segmented repetitive parts but the addition of "scales" on the individual body parts allows the body to look "full" but still maintain some level of flexibility. I restricted the movements of the body to lateral flexions in order to reinforce it and be sure it would stay nice when physically constructed. I am still struggling to find the right balance between "nice looking scales" and their thickness (that restricts a bit the amplitude of the lateral flexions).
- Reinforced structures: the fins are reinforced, the body structure, and the attachment of the head to the body.
- Dorsal and tail fins finally open a bit like a fan!
- All parts (form and color) can be found in LDD and not LDD extended, hence are genuinely existing parts that can be purchased!
