A very rare sight to see indeed. Got to give credit to Senator Chinchilla for this one, it was a task and a half. But it is here in its big-yellow-Toyota-GT86-modified glory. Unlike most build were I just build a shape, I did research on what was involved to build a drift car, and implemented it on this car. photos below as usual. So, enjoy...
About this creation
Front: Angry with the wide body
Side: Perfection on wheels
Dat booty tho...
Research led me to this unique design of a rear-mounted radiator. This was seen on the Speedhunters 2JZ 86GT drift car
In front of that is the much bigger fuel tank
Now to look inside
Full race cage with seats and no dashboard
Big red start button
Told you it was a full race cage
Red Front-Mount Intercooler, cause silver is to mainstream
And here is why...
2JZ BABY! what makes this engine remarkable is that all the intercooler pipes are attached to the engine. This is the most detailed engine I have built for some time
Now I had questions from my mates about the mad fitment of my wheels...well it wasn't easy
I've seen many 'Camber' Solution on Lego cars before, but none of these gave me the look I wanted. So I created my own
The end result is a fully adjustable system that still allows the wheels to roll.
And if you want to go full derp...
So as you can see you can have a high ride height...
Or go full stance
Dual Fart Canons at the back
My Red 'Brembo' Brakes
One of the hardest decisions was what colour of pod filters I should have on the end of my turbo?
And there we go, I might be off the website for a while as school is back in order and I'm in for the long haul to finish Year 12. Thanks for looking, please rate and/or comment...THANKS
GOOD GOD the details on this thing are amazing! Those headlights are ace! Great work with the body kits and air intakes. The interior is brilliant. And the engine bay.....ooooh, that engine bay. =3. Amazing.
A+++, A+++, BRAVO BRAVO.THESE ARE OME OF MY FAVORITES. You really outdid yourself on the one Davanchi I love it sooooo.... very much you have been one of my favorite builders, and I like to say sometimes <.< >.> a designer, but I'm pretty sure people tell you that already.
sharp and quite stunning! about an HOUR ago i decided to do a 6wide Scion FR-S, based off an idea i had for the taillights; so i was SUPER surprised seeing this! that engine bay: great. one of the best since you nailed so many key details! (blue was a good choice for the turbo's imo) i don't care for this so-called "stance movement" but you pulled it off so i'm happy. i can't believe it! i thought i would have the second LEGO Toyota GT-86 online xD! well done MOC and good luck during school!!!
