I worked first on the bones, the skeleton of the fish, and I am pretty happy with the way the jaws came out: I tried to copy the actual structure from pictures of fishes' cranes. I ad of course the body is flexible and composed of assembled quasi-repetitive elements.
About this creation
Yes the jaw can close!
I tried also this variation with a deck and cannons on the back of the fish!
The deck is attached to the back of the giant fish with iron claws.
Lots of canons...
... and the skulls of defeated enemies attached to the deck!
Quoting Damon Corso
This is AWESOMENESS! Well done
Thanks Damon, I am still working on this project to improve it a little bit. You can have a look at the new (improved for me) version and tell me if you like it better :) http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/407475
I am still wortking on the following: improved body structure (without reducing the flexibility) and improved jaw structure (I will do the next generation with lego technic, that shall be easier although bigger).
Thanks for appreciating,
