An Outlaw-class heads up drag race between a pair of modified Mustangs; On the right is a 1995 Mustang GTS with a roots-style supercharged V8 under a tall cowl hood, and on the left is a 1987 LX Notchback with a double carb'ed V8 with high rise intake under a Harwood hood scoop.
Both models feature opening hoods, doors, trunks, and fuel doors, as well as steerable front wheels, working suspension, and detailed engine compartments, interiors, and trunks. Each also feature full roll cages, wheelie bars, longtube headers and side exhaust, drag chutes, fuel cells and relocated dry cell batteries in their trunks, stripped interiors with extra instrumentation, fire extinguisher, tach and shift light, and nitrous bottle in their interiors.
