Another update, its getting there slowly, the angles are a struggle with lego,i see why there so few builds of this ship, still rough around the edges yet but it gives you an idea how it will look, most of the trunking on the funnel will be covered up with vents etc but i thought i would try and build it how the original ship was built, the bridge is temporary for now just to see if things were in proportion,i dont know how many times i rebuilt the funnel but it took from 10am till 9pm(need to get out more LOL) just doing that part,i will update more photos tomorrow,4th update funnel rebuilt more square and thinner trunking looks better i think, second funnel added aswell
Is unbelievable .....
In this extraordinary work...There are a lot of wonderful and difficult details which can not believe that it is possible to manufacture by bricks...Especially difficult angles in the body of the leadership and the chimney..
Creative work as always jim
I have to agree with what Alex said -- you seem to work amazingly quickly. The funnel is looking very good. I actually think the bridge looks pretty good now, too, but I'm sure you'll find a way to improve on it when it is rebuilt. I'm anxious to see the finished model.
